We all saw what happen on On April 22, 2025, a terrorist attack occurred in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the deaths of 26 people, including 25 tourists and one local Kashmiri man. Those who came to Kashmir for fun, they returns with sadness .

This is a Tragedy, even in this tragedy our Kashmir people showed caring and kindness is overwhelming.

Full Story of Pahalgam attack 

On 22 April 2025, afternoon around 2.00 pm in Baisaran Valley ,in Pahalgam Town. Men were forced to remove their trousers to check for a lack of circumcision before being shot at close range, this brutality continued for 30 minutes some of the people ran towards the forest to hide behind the trees .

What is militants message 

a Survivor said "after he killed my husband , me and my son asked him to kill us, he said " jaa ke modi ko bata (Go and tell this to Modi)."

 Another account described how militants forced a victim to recite an Islamic verse before killing him, claiming they were targeting individuals based on their religion. These statements highlight the calculated and brutal nature of the attack.

Syed Adil Hussain Shah Brave Hero

On that day Militants killed 26 people among the victims there was on muslim, Syed Adil Hussain Shah, a local pony operator reportedly tried to protect the tourists and wrestle the gun from one of the attackers before being shot and killed. he died trying to save on life .

He displayed extraordinary courage by attempting to protect tourists and even tried to snatch a weapon from one of the attackers. His bravery has been widely recognized as a symbol of defiance in the face of terror.

How Kashmir people show kindness 

After the tettorist attack , locals assisted in the rescue effort and offered shelter to victims. provided food , water and all necessities , some even gave free ride to hospitals, hotels and airports.

Members of the local pony-handlers association rescued 11 injured tourists on ponies and improvised stretchers. Gurudwaras in Kashmir opened their doors to shelter tourists fleeing the valley in fear, as many sought safety closer to cities and airports to return to their home states.

The people of Kashmir displayed remarkable kindness and humanity. Many Kashmiri families opened their homes to terrified tourists, offering them shelter and safety. For instance, families like the Maliks in Sopore not only provided refuge but also refused to accept any payment, prioritizing the well-being of their guests over their own financial losses.

One tourist from Pune shared how locals went out of their way to ensure the safety of stranded visitors, even traveling to bring back members of their group. This generosity and compassion sent a powerful message: that the humanity of the Kashmiri people far outweighs the hatred of those who perpetrate such attacks.

These acts of kindness are a testament to the resilience and warmth of the Kashmiri community, even in the face of tragedy.
