The Disappearances of Ren & Setina Princess Weddles
Ren and Setina haven't been seen since 2016

Setina Princess Waddles and her twin brother, Ren, disappeared at separate times sometime in 2016, although their parents, Aaron Weddles and Princess Canez-Walker, did not report them missing until 2018. The twins were around six weeks old and four months old when they disappeared.
Born on April 7, 2016, Setina and Ren could have been saved if California Child Protective Services had followed up on a report made to them by a nurse at the hospital. CPS never investigated the nurse’s report detailing how she did not think Aaron and Princess could care for the children.
Twins “Nowhere Around”
On January 4, 2018, Setina, Ren, their parents, and their three siblings were reported missing from Stockton, California.

Five days later, police found Aaron, Princess, and the three older children living inside their 2002 Suzuki SUV in “deplorable” conditions. According to police, they found mold growing on the car's interior, and trash littered the interior, where they also found drugs, and weapons, including a machete and an axe.
Setina nor Ren were found inside the vehicle. When police asked Princess about the twins' whereabouts, she told them to “do your jobs, that’s what you’re getting paid for”. Princess continued, “Maybe they have been kidnapped,” but refused to provide any additional information.
The older children were placed in protective custody.

Weddles, Canez-Walker Arrested
Police took Aaron and Princess into custody on various criminal charges, including child endangerment. At the station, Princess admitted that she had not seen Ren since May 13, 2016, when he was five weeks old. Ren’s father had been wounded during a shootout that evening and suggested he accidentally killed the infant or that he was struck by the individual who shot Aaron in the neck. Aaron gave authorities the same story. No one ever faced charges in the shooting.
Princess allegedly told her cousin the same story, going on to tell her that she wrapped Ren’s body in a blanket and placed it inside a freezer.
Princess claimed she last saw Setina in August 2016, shortly after Ren disappeared.

The Investigation
An investigation into the matter revealed that Setina listed four children, not five, on her lease for a public housing unit where she lived before getting evicted in June 2016.
The Stockton homeless community familiar with Aaron and Princess could not recall seeing the twins with them. In fact, not even family, friends, or doctors had seen the twins in more than a year. One of Princess’es cousins claimed one of the children told her, “Oh, she’s gone. She goes bye-bye” when she asked where Setina was.
Ren would have been five weeks old the night Aaron was shot. Setina would have been around four months old the last time anyone saw her. However, their disappearance date is listed as Jan. 4, 2018, at 20 months old, since it's the date authorities discovered the children were missing.
Aaron, Princess Sentenced to Prison
Princess and Aaron both had a history of drug abuse and Princess had a history of mental illness.
Princess was initially determined mentally incompetent to stand trial on eight felony counts of cruelty to a child with possible injury or death. Both Aaron and Princess pleaded guilty to eight counts of felony child endangerment in 2019 and were sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Aaron nor Princess have offered any more details regarding their children's disappearances.
Ren and Setina’s whereabouts or the outcome of their disappearances are still unknown. If the twins are still alive, they are now 8 years old.
Anyone with information about the missing twins is asked to call the Stockton Police Department at (209) 937-8377, the Investigations Unit at (209) 937-8323 or Crime Stoppers at (209) 946-0600. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards up to $10,000. Callers can remain anonymous.
