The perfect marriage
My eyes were closing, as I was drifting off into a deep slumber on my couch again. The television was still on, bright as ever in a dark room, and all I could hear was the laughter booming from talk show that once had my interest. I could feel myself losing grip of the glass of wine I had in my hand, as I was feeling more relaxed and light as a feather. There it was, the feeling of sleepiness leading me into a deep, dark hole that I would not be able to get out of.

Buy One Murder For The Price Of Two
'Twas the Saturday before Christmas when throughout the gym not a creature was stirring, not even brother Smith who was dead as a mouse who got into the arsenic coated candy canes Santa had left behind in the children’s stockings. Drifting deflated balloons which had lost their spirit as lifeless as the dead body clung to the floor slightly drifting back and forth with the air from the vents like wandering drunks searching for their next throw back. I, Desert.
Now I have been around a very long time, and have seen my fair share of the unusual and downright unthinkable in my many years as a desert. I mean, there have been treasures, ships, lovers quarrels, camels, dead bodies, near dead bodies and so much more. I have seen beauty, horror, kindness, pain, joy, sadness, suffering and the occasional happiness in being rescued alive, and the mending of a broken heart or two.
