Ready to Hang
The sun rose, casting its glow onto the stage. However, it would go unused today as the two men meant to be on it were sneaking away. They had tipped off the deputy guarding them in order to escape. These men, a Texan and a Utahn, were guilty of an armed robbery in Prescott. They were trying to get the money to make it to California’s golden coast and take advantage of the abandoned mines; hoping to scavenge any gold that was missed.

THE DEVIL ITSELF
"I haven't a clue what you're talking about, doctor. Now I think it's about time you left. I'd tuck that journal away, before you do something you end up regretting. I'll see you out," the Warden said, standing immediately from his desk and motioning toward the door politely.

Hush.
Hi, So, this is not a blog, not an entry into the “competition”, is not even a post… This is just for you. Other users in the website will see the post about a girl and the guy that is what the picture supposedly is about. Some might post comments on it… Believe me, it’s not the same post, that is a love story like so many others… the one you’re reading is more of a confession.

Killsage
The rustling waves crash against the beach shoreline. People frolic in contagious elation under the squawking of seagulls. The palm leaves sway beneath a clear blue sky. Such beauty in retirement. Such pointlessness. So boring. The ordinance. The lack of quarrel. It ages me. I figured an early retirement would be good for me, a chance to get back all that I gave up. Guess I was wrong.

Unusable Lockers
It has been an average day, really. History class dragged on for way too long. Math was not any better. The last thing I wanted was to do a science test, which unfortunately I did not study for. Which I am pretty sure I failed. At least it was near the end of the year. I could enjoy a much-needed holiday. I grab my books out of my locker, checking my surroundings as I knew that at any moment, I could get bumped into by one of the massive dudes. When I say massive, I really mean massive. They went to the gym daily. Huge muscular arms that appear from each side of their black singlets.

"45"
Tires roll clumsily against the dry cracked asphalt. The wind gently pushes back against the vehicle as it moves ever forward, creaking and groaning with each passing mile. The darkness of night begins to give way to ever strengthening light, the burning violet peacefulness of a coming new day, betraying the previous night's chaos. As if it had never happened.

The Heathers
I rolled into the office around 9 the next morning. Jack and I had stayed late last night trying to connect Evelyn and the dead girl from yesterday. What was making it harder was we had no ID on the new body. She didn’t have a wallet or purse, no driver's license, and dental records can only be used if we have a place to start. All we knew is she was between 18 and 22. Searching the missing person reports didn’t lead anywhere because no one had reported her missing, unlike Evelyn.
