America's First Serial Killer
It was during one of my psychology classes that I had the pleasure of writing a paper on a man called, Herman Webster Mudgett. Or better known as Dr. Henry Howard Holmes…commonly known as America’s first serial killer H. H. Holmes. Born May 16th, 1861 and died on May 1896. While he was considered to be a monster in that time era; I personally find him fascinating in a strictly professional way of course. H. H. Holmes himself had a very unique and cold way of disposing of his victims which was not common for that time.

Greatest Legal Movies Ever Made
Despite the best detective movies, having some of the greatest sleuths ever portrayed on screen, these detectives are very different. In the greatest legal movies ever made, the private eye investigators tend to be the lawyers or prosecutors in a court case. They often showcase both experienced investigative skills and legal insight, denoting the layers of a particular case oftentimes quicker than the detectives themselves. This is because they enlist brilliant skills in uncovering a suspect's innocence while denoting some of their own personal shortcomings in the process.

Shots Fired
Being an infamous, yet anonymous, sniper for the many gangs that riddled her city’s and the few surrounding cities’ streets was not the ideal job. She had to keep herself anonymous in order to hold normal relationships, or in case she ever decided to build a family. Amelia was good at what she did, though. She was never one to go home empty handed. She was practically a hired assassin after all. Gangs would hire her in order to take out people that stood in her way. She’d never pick a gang to fight for in the several gang wars that took place throughout the streets. She would never be able to get back out of that, no matter how good she was at running. Which is what got her here.

Our Crime and Punishment
Over the years the world has evolved and during this evolution practices and views have changed to fit the times. During this time capital punishment has remained the same in some places. Capital punishment is defined as being an order issued by the legal system to punish a convicted criminal to punishment by death. Some people believe capital punishment should be abolished, while others believe it should remain the way it is. This type of punishment has claimed the lives of many innocent people. Causing hurt amongst families, mistrust against the judicial system, and drastic life altering circumstances for those wrongly accused. Not to mention how the actual criminal is still in the community waiting for his or her moment to strike again.

Best Mystery Novels to Keep You up at Night
Even if you're not a bookworm, people love a good mystery novel. All you want to know is what happens next, but every single chapter is just a brand new cliffhanger and this literally makes us go to the next chapter — it's like a cycle until we eventually reach the end of the novel (but we never want stories to end!).
