Execute the Innocent
"There's always such a rush to judgment. It makes a fair trial hard to get," John Grisham has said. In his one and only true crime book, The Innocent Man, he proved that this was true. In that book, Grisham explores the case that saw Ron Williamson nearly being executed for crimes that he didn't commit. As the hours clocked down, his life literally hung in the balance because someone wanted a conviction, no matter what the cost was.

Pacifist
I held my ground as the mugger pointed a knife at me in the alleyway shortcut I had taken. Cross Country Serial Killer
"I am a serial killer. I would kill again." Aileen Wuornos once warned police and the community at large. It seems that most serial killers have a code that their needs matter more than anyone else's, seems to be a statement that doesn't need to be said. Samuel Little allegedly took both the Wuornos statement and the selfish characteristic to dramatic new heights with his killing spree. What's fascinating is that for the most part, he got away with it. If not for a confession and some handy detective work, Little could have performed 90 or so murders and never have been tried for most of them.

A Night I Won’t Forget
I woke up on time...like normal. I went to school...like normal. I drove myself to my class, at eight...like normal. It was a normal day. And after a long day of classes, I decided I should get something to eat. It was seven PM I hadn’t eaten since lunch. Real life is hard. College is such a different experience than what I had lived before. I just wanted something quick, so I just went to the nearest fast food restaurant. Simple and fast. That’s all I needed. I walk into the restaurant to find out that there is a very long line. I pull out my phone and start browsing social media. I hear the door open behind me. I hear a shotgun cock.
