The Boeing Disaster
I see Boeing as the prime victim of unhinged capitalism. With over three hundred casualties due to faulty software programming and mischievous and dubious help from the federal agency FAA, it is of serious concern for everybody who is directly and indirectly connected to the devastation.

Just Let Me Die Here (A Serialized Novel) 5
Packing for the trip goes relatively easily, save for the three different trips I have to make to three different stores to find Millie a properly fitting snow suit. “And boots,” Tucker had told me. “She needs snow boots.” Ignoring the fact that she is not even close to walking yet, a separate issue that I am already worried enough about, do you know that no one stocks snow boots for a nine-month-old? I was able to find some on Amazon, but they wouldn’t ship in time. I get a couple pairs of really thick socks and some too large rain boots. That should be good enough.

Alone on Death Mountain: The Dyatlov Pass Incident
In February 1959, nine hikers from the Ural Polytechnical Institute died mysteriously on the slopes of Kholat Syakhl, a remote mountain in northern Russia. Something made them cut their way out of their tent in the middle of the night and run for their lives, all the while unprepared for the freezing temperatures. When their bodies were discovered, their injuries were inconsistent, and the reason for their frantic escape on that fateful February night remains unknown. What happened to the hikers at Dyatlov Pass?

Tainted
I can remember dodging cracks on the sidewalk, in the hope that I wouldn’t break my mother’s back. I remember my brother sitting in our grandmother’s driveway, trying to burn ants in a pool of light beneath his magnifying glass. I remember the grass stains on my favourite pair of jeans.

Dhu Shanatir, Killer King: Power, Deceit, and Parallels with Other Historical Serial Killers
As rulers go, Dhu (or Zu) Shanatir was not only a king (of the Himyarite Kingdom) in the region now known as Yemen. He was truly a special case, according to what I've read. Rather than only being corrupt or war-like, the historical record forever has him pegged as a serial child rapist and murderer, who reigned from the years 478-490.

You're in My Way, You Need to Die
I am currently sitting in a hospital room after spending three days in ICU recovering from injuries received in a horrific car accident due to some one unable to control their emotions and rage. This rage was borne out of the fact that I was driving the speed limit in the middle lane on a major freeway in Dallas and trying to change lanes with my blinker on. I simply was in their way, and not going as fast as they wanted to go, so hence, I deserved to die. I deserved to die because I existed. Because I was in their way.

Just Let Me Die Here (A Serialized Novel) 4
On my way home from campus, I stop in at the grocery store to get some things for dinner. And a nice bottle of wine. Something bold, spicy, and a tad pricier than our usual twenty-dollar bottles. This grant is definitely a cause for celebration and a great start to our vacation. Other than that, I don’t know what to get. I used to be much better at planning out meals for the whole week, but recently, it’s been more of a day by day thing. I find less food goes to waste that way. There always seems to be too much left over.
