The Hollywood Con Queen
In summer 2015, aspiring screenwriter Greg Mandarano received the email he’d been dreaming of. He had been sending query emails to every production company he could find online, and Jing Huilang, a film executive from The China Film Group, had replied to say she was interested in his script. Thrilled, Mandarano eagerly provided everything she asked for: responses to essay questions, a synopsis, a copy of the full script, a 40-page mood board and a pitch. Within just a few weeks, Greg and his writing partner Dave were on their way to Indonesia to meet with producers.

The Death Row Poet
This is William Richard “Bill” Bradford. This case has been of interest to me for decades. I remember the first time I heard of Bill. It was before I had even decided to pursue my degree in Criminal Justice. The case interested me so much because I had become quite close with one of Bradford’s ex wives. I was even a friend of one of his sons. I do not believe in coincidence. And the timing of meeting these people and pursuing my degree in Criminal Justice was incredible. I had first hand knowledge of someone who had intimately known a serial killer. The only better thing I could think of was if I had been able to interview Bradford myself. I did many research papers on him over the years. Having that personal knowledge was something I could not pass on. Sadly, both his son and ex wife have passed on. But I will always remember them so fondly. But it was obvious to see the devastation this man caused not only to his victims but to those who were close to him.

Miguel had gone on a sport fishing trip with a group of men from the Yucatan Rotary Club, all of them residents of the city of Merida, in Mexico.

When is the City Liable if I get injured when I Slip and Fall in the Street?
Did you slip, trip, and fall on a public sidewalk or street and it was not your fault? Now you’re thinking to yourself: who will pay for my medical bills? The city? The municipality? The county? It depends.

truly criminal
truly criminal (these things do not “just happen”) by the ADHD Accountant – Krid I have enjoyed the Phantom of the Opera since I was a child. Part of it may have been the exclusion by my Nana who took all of the family except my sister and I, the youngest. She was confident that we, as mere children, could not, would not, be able to appreciate the experience.

The Most Dangerous Woman in the UK Prison System
It is a truth, universally acknowledged, that a serial killer should be creepy, male and have a terrible and abusive childhood. I may have overstated the case. Sure, there's some wiggle room in there for outliers like Bundy, only creepy after the fact, and Eileen Wuornos… but for the most part, the average person's mind will go straight to John Wayne Gacy or Ed Gein.

Tea with Australia's Charles Manson
There didn’t seem to be anything remarkable about the man sitting in front of me, as a new tenant of a council owned flat, he was entitled to a welfare visit to make sure he had access to the right housing Benefit. We wanted to make sure that any new tenants wouldn’t get into arrears with their rent.
