"I Don't Like Mondays"
America has a history of school shootings dating all the way back to 1764 in which the schoolmaster of a settlers' log schoolhouse and ten students were killed during Pontiac's Rebellion. The ones that most likely come to mind are those with the highest body counts, which include the ones committed at Virginia Tech (the highest one to date with thirty-three deaths), Columbine High School, and Sandy Hook Elementary School. As shocking as those were, many people might be unfamiliar with the first-ever school shooting committed by a female. She may not have had the highest body count, but she managed to carry it all out without having to step foot onto the property. Brenda Ann Spencer told those around her that she wanted to do something big to get on TV, and she got her wish.

The Tragedy of Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon
The story of Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon has always fascinated me ever since I learned about it in 2016: the story of two girls who went on a hiking trip, only to never return, chilled me to the bone the first time I heard it, and I can't say that I've ever forgotten it due to how eerie and downright surreal the entire story is.

The Night That Silenced Wyoming
My name is Holly Marie Lang born on April 5, 1983, to Al and Debbie Lang in Alexandria, LA. They were a young couple trying to find their place in the world. Growing up for me was amazing. I do not recall anything but love from my parents. They did not ever fight or yell and me being the only child, I was never starved for affection or love. I was their life, and they were mine!! My dad worked for the oil field after he got out of the Air Force and eventually decided to join Immigration of Naturalization Service. The first attack, as I call it, came around 1993 when my dad sat me down to explain that a divorce was approaching. I remember being so confused because there were no signs insinuating anything of the sorts. The new puppy and promises of two of every holiday helped me catch my breath and lightened the blow.
