Thick Tank
Tank looked at the heavy brown paper box in his hands and felt angry. Anger had served him so well over the years he'd never felt the urge to expand his range of emotions. He was angry all the time, from light irritation all the way up to murderous, bone-breaking fury. He'd broken enough bones in his time, that's for sure, his shovel hands and gigantic frame making light work of it. Once or twice he'd killed a man. Maybe three times. He didn't remember.

The Psychiatrist
Handcuffed to a chair sits a twelve-year-old boy. Dr. Scarborough sits back down in his office chair and dials the intercom to Angie’s office. “Yes, I knew about Dr. Whitney arriving this week, but I’m interviewing a new patient right now, so if you just want to show him the rounds that I normally do, that would be extremely helpful. What are you doing tonight?”

A True Crime Story Comes To Life
It’s rare that a true crime documentary series pays as much attention to the victim of a bloody and senseless murder as it does the crime itself, and yet that’s one of the many things that drew me to filmmaker John Dower’s three-part Netflix series Sophie: A Murder in West Cork.

Savannah PD The not so finest...
When I moved to Georgia I would have told you how amazing they were, from their patrol to their detectives, even two years ago I would have told you that until today. These events occurred and no one in law enforcement will hold these officers to answer for their actions. I don't hate law enforcement, there just needs to be some answers and accountability for the actions of the bad one because they have an impact on someone's life. I am not suggesting a lynch mob but every system that should allow someone to have these actions looked into from an AUSA, to the Department of Justice, to Internal Affairs and their own police chief and the district attorney refuse to even respond to an email. So Vocal is the only way I have to hold them accountable. Even Facebook has suspended my account just for posting links to these stories.

Ink-Bled Bystander
Who was he trying to kid? It was obvious that at some point he would get caught. His profession could only remain sustainable for so long. And boy was it sustainable; cash without end in sight along with all the solitude a lone wolf could want. He wished he could say it was guilt free. But in the nights when he wasn’t on rooftops getting blackeye-d from his too trusty scope, the ghosts tortured him.

STREET LIVES
Street Live is not a true story. It chronicles the lives of real ‘Players’ beginning as young men, following them through life as pursuing quests they had no control over. Some of the names have been changed to protect the guilty. So, kick back and let me tell you a lie or two.

Debt Cleanup
If a picture has a thousand words, then a life would be priceless. Except in 2020, everything has a price. Shigeko Oe, nineteen, a hitter for the bosozoku gang, the ‘Banzai Bangers’ understood this quite well. It didn’t matter what needed to be taken care of, Oe would be the first on the call list. The streets whisper her name in fear of crossing her path. They call her ‘Hannya’, as the last thing you see is her sadistically sharp smile. Her reputation for being a cold-blooded killer has garnered attention across New Chiba. Everyone knows the ‘Hannya’ demon girl and her hunger for blood and coin. Oe like many children was once an innocent child with wondrous goals and dreams. And like dreams, they end. She was no different. Chewed up and swallowed by this vile city. The child became just like all the others, another product of vice. Who could blame her? In this city of corruption, the streets starve, and well, a gal’s gotta eat. As the weight of her name continues to grow, one thing remains clear, Oe is untouchable, and nothing could possibly break her.
