African American Serial Killers Part 14

Over‐Represented Yet Under-acknowledged

Any case with explicit racial overtones should be taken more seriously than ever. The history of America permits little if no room for black serial killers to pass the test of having enough sense to commit atrocities and get away for a period.

J.C. Simon, Larry Green, Manuel Moore, Dwight Stallins, Thomas Manney, Edgar Burton, Clarence Jamison all found justice. As part of the Zebra Killers, they represented the Death Angels. This consisted of a racist Muslim outlet developed in the 1960’s.

San Diego, California grew into a nightmarish hellscape and the economy suffered. White men and women who used to frequent nightclubs and go out on the town. The white population felt that any black man between the ages of twenty and thirty at the height of five foot nine to six feet tall could be a suspect.

The targets, white, had been part of the list. The Death Angels sought to initiate new members and to do so, leaders of the black gang forced prospects to murder only members of the lighter flesh.

With fear running rampant through the streets, the Zebra Killers received less coverage than the Zodiac Killer, even though they committed fifteen confirmed killings and investigators suspect at least seventy three more deaths from as early as 1970 to 1974.

So this is the clear understanding of what race is in America. Even in the lowest scum of the earth don’t get enough recollection as opposed to white scum.

Zebra Killers deserve their life sentences because they deprived life from their victims. They don’t get as many book and movie deals and in-depth journalistic entries.

The power of the black leaders that spoke out against the racism of the day enabled innocent black people in the area to maintain some sense of decency. There is a direct link with how irrational the whole judicial system actually operated during that time.

Over the past few decades, Simon, Cooks, and Moore all died in prison. Green remains locked up behind bars. In the amount of time that the idea of snitching has to be at the forefront. Back then, an informant told on the Death Angels and found refuge with his family in the witness protection program.

If he had not spoken up against the murderers, those miscreants would have committed even more killings.

Of all the murderers, the Zebra Killers would have continued their terrible assault on the lives of innocent people. It doesn’t matter that they’re not here to tell their tales. It’s impossible. That is why the San Francisco police department and other agencies focused on them.

The reason why Zebra Killers do not get as much shine as other high profile murderers is because of the idea that black men can’t evade police for that long. It has been said that only the white man can be so cunning and clever.

The intelligence, allegedly, of a young black man is far inferior than that of a white man. News clips of that era consisted of pointing out that these acts represented random, out-of-control slayings that only a sophisticated white man could have pulled off anyway.

No. These men had been brain sullied losers who just happened to have skin of a darker hue. There’s nothing particularly special about them. The system of faith tied to them even shuns the Death Angels club.

For all of their bluster and rage and mayhem, they should still be remembered on behalf of the victims and their families. There is no glorification of their hideous behavior. Only, the memory of their actions should forever be studied and never repeated.
