My journey back to corporate America.
Friends! What a journey into the real world of a 9-5 job! Culture shock! I am the first to admit that my last two jobs were, in fact, 'work from home', in the sense that I did travel- but my home base was my home office, and all of my supplies were haphazardly placed in my garage. My coffee pot was 17 steps away, I didn't have to share a bathroom, and I sometimes worked in my PJs.

What Should I Write?
Introduction I haven’t written anything about writing and creation recently, and I have been told that I am lazy and my writing is rubbish and I post too much so nobody reads my posts. These have all been put forward as constructive criticism that I should take notice of.

Why You Shouldn't Have a Crush
Many people get their first crush in elementary or middle school. You first notice the girl sitting next to you in class. She is dressed really nicely today. Her hair is pinned up with a few strands framing her face. She always helps you with your classwork or homework when you get stuck on a question. In the downtime of class, she shares her book with you and lets you read with her. Over time, she becomes the highlight of your day. Every day you come in, you hope she did too, just so you can see her. The thought puts a smile on your face.

How Did We Get Here and Where Do We Go From Here?
So here we are, getting back into the swing of life, trying to move forward and seeming to do a decent job at it. He was working as usual, I was working, I added therapy into the mix, because everyone could use a little help now and then. We were getting back to it and moving along with life. But let's remember, Covid-19 was a thing, as we all see it still is today. Things were ramping up, masks and lockdowns were everywhere and we were suddenly entrenched in, are either of us still going to be able t0 work since they are shutting the world down? The short answer, thankfully was yes. We both were able to keep working, because both of our jobs were deemed essential. But with a catch, my job was almost entirely unaffected, we had to reduce hours, so there was less overlap between employees and his job split their shifts so that there was less over lap but the same amount and time for production, so he was moved to overnights.

Stress Is Fuel For Growth, Greater Happiness, And Accelerated Success
The youngest heavyweight in the world boxing champion Mike Tyson once said, “Everybody Has a Plan Until You Get Punched in The Face”. The way I interpret this statement is that we have all gone through periods of success, and high confidence forgetting where we came from. And we all experienced levels of failures, setbacks, or injustices. What I am going to argue in this short piece, is that some of life’s setbacks can be turned to our advantage, converting the stress into mental fitness and abundance. I will also argue that most of the pain we experience is self-inflicted as we focus on the negatives and generate a lot of unnecessary noise and unrealistic deadlines.

Are some friends really only meant to stay for a little while?
I have been extremely busy and have lost some motivation to do my online recruiting work! Sometimes I wish I was a mom already and had a husband who would take care of the finances, but also maybe when I have that life, I would crave and miss young Dom who had the freedom to pick up her life and move anywhere she desired.

ME. Hello.
So... How does one live in my situation? What's my situation and what makes it unique from everyone else's? Not much. I mean how many reading this are on Methadone? Or have several medical issues that truly prevent you from working, yet you can't seem to get disability. But you also feel disability is for losers. Because that's what you were programmed to think. It's for lazy people who don't wanna work. That's what I always thought. Oh, how humbled I have been over the last few years. Lemme explain.

Hot Girl Summer
One of the requirements for my Bachelor’s degree was an internship at a professional theater. It was the summer between my Junior and Senior year. There were only a handful of us in the acting track at my small liberal arts college. We carpooled to one of those “cattle call” auditions where all the regional theaters find college kids for their summer productions.

Deprioritizing Email Has Greatly Improved My Work Productivity and Overall Job Satisfaction. Top Story - August 2022.
For as far back as I can remember in my career the first thing I did everyday upon arriving to work was check and respond to email, it was also the last thing I did before I left each day. It was also the thing I did regularly throughout the day each day of each workweek. Checking and responding to emails has always been at the very top or very near the top of my priority list at work. The portion of my work time I spend checking and responding to emails grew each year, and seemed to neatly mirror my own growth within the business where I worked. As my responsibilities grew so did the size of my inbox. I prided myself at keeping my inbox and unread emails at or near zero and always responding promptly to each and every message no matter how unimportant or trivial. In recent years as the flood of emails reached record levels I devised ever more complicated systems of rules for prioritizing, categorizing, organizing, and storing emails into folders and subfolders, groups, and subgroups. I asked colleagues to explain their even more complicated systems so that I might learn from them and mimic their best ideas. It was an ongoing, uphill, seemingly never ending, battle against an enemy whose numbers were never depleted, and in fact mustered more troops to the field each and every day. I was just one man going toe to toe against this ever growing onslaught of emails and I was determined to never give up, never surrender. All of this effort was undertaken with one overarching goal in mind, maximizing the number of emails I could receive and respond to in the shortest possible amount of time, and always in priority order. Typically that meant that priority was assigned based on the senders rank within the particular business within which I worked, with those higher up the chain being prioritized above those below. Special deference would always be given to my direct manager, who's emails (almost) always took priority over anything else from anyone in the organization, including my own direct reports. Failing to respond within hours was shameful, failing to respond in the same day an unmitigated disaster, not responding at all, well, let's just say some things were downright unthinkable.

Reasoning
My store is named ice blue old because the items are cheap to process, the demand is high, and sales have been at a record high. And the price of items often disrupts the market. Some of my peers admire me, and some are dissatisfied. Discontent with some of the low quality is also cursed. But I generally just smile, or a "quality", or simply ignore his words. Because in life, these kinds of people will also appear from time to time, disrupting your life. His purpose is to make you angry or let you argue with him. In this case, try to tolerate them as much as you can, and ignore his presence, and the damage you give him may be much greater than an ordinary comeback. Because Lu Xun said a saying, the best contempt for the enemy is speechless.
