The Weight of Tomorrow
The Weight of Tomorrow No one knew exactly when the city of Liora first began to dim. It happened slowly, like the silent falling of dust on an abandoned book. Some blamed the endless gray clouds that draped the sky like an old, heavy blanket. Others whispered of a "sorrow fever," a sickness of the spirit that had crept into their hearts.

The Café on the Corner That Changed My Life
I never planned to walk into that café. It was raining—one of those soft drizzles that feels more like a whisper than a storm—and I had just missed my bus. I ducked into the nearest building, which happened to be a dusty little café nestled between a laundromat and a pawn shop. A hand-painted sign above the door read, Marigold Café—Est. 1972. I didn’t know it then, but that accidental detour would reroute my entire life.

$5 Gas and a Talking Pet: I Should’ve Known
Dear Lasha, Good morning, lovely. How are you this morning? So, question, remember when I wrote you last about “friends” that were toxic and “ghosty”? Well, I would like to talk about one of them. We went to school together and we were not that close. I think the reason why we were friends is because we liked the same things and wanted to do the same things but went about it differently. So, I was at a college that I do wish I had gone to years ago, but the timing wasn’t right and not that much encouragement either. We meet with him and his group of friends from a class. Don’t get me wrong, out of all his group of friends, I did enjoy one of his friends, who is a girl. Back on the story, I had to leave college due to how far I had to drive, not having enough money to use for gas, having no job, and being a young parent with little help to pick up my child.

How My Mind Became My Friend
I am an engineer and a digital marketer. I have my happy family, I love to do for my family, and I am spiritual too. I love to pray the God, do namaz and Quran, and my family too. I believe to work hard and get your destiny, without doing anything, you will never achieve success. I always teach this lesson to my kids, too. ' Never put a full stop after your success(.), you put a comma(,) "No end of success".

Maybe I Was Wrong: A Confession I Needed Years to Make
🌧️ The Day I Walked Away I still remember the last time we spoke. You messaged me something simple — a “Hey, just checking in, you okay?” But I wasn’t okay. I hadn’t been for a while. I was angry, hurt, confused… and worst of all, ashamed that I didn’t know how to say it.
