Sunday Morning at Church
My cat told me not to go to Church this morning. I almost obeyed her. I was wondering if I could go to the bar on a Saturday night and then go to Church on a Sunday morning without feeling like a confounded hypocrite. I defied my cat's advice and drove to church thinking about the song "Boondocks" by Little Big Town. "You get a line, I'll get a pole. We'll go fishing in the crawfish hole. Five-card poker on Saturday night. Church on Sunday morning." I'm glad I defied my cat and went to church. It's decorated so Christmas style and it lifts my spirits even if I'm a "black sheep" or even if I'm not an essential member of the church.

The Struggles Behind Success: A Heartfelt Truth
The Struggles Behind Success: A Heartfelt Truth People are often drawn to the glamour of success. They admire the wealth you’ve accumulated, the recognition you’ve earned, and the prestige you now command. However, very few care to see the struggles, sacrifices, and relentless efforts that paved the way to your success.

When The Devil Comes To Collect Your Debt. Content Warning.
I have written articles about recognizing abusive situations. I have talked in various articles about my past relationships while I was a traumatized, co-dependent, trauma-bonded youngling. I haven't in a while, because sometimes when your abuser lives nearby it sometimes creates a fear that keeps you from talking and sharing your full story. Especially when your abuser has a pretty well-off family who could and WOULD hurt you in various ways if they truly wanted to.

Why Dating Doesn’t Have to Be a Drama-Filled Event
Dating today is a bit like a high-speed roller coaster. One moment you’re swiping through profiles, the next you’re deep in conversation with someone new. While that can be thrilling, it also comes with its own set of challenges. Gone are the days when you met someone at a café or through mutual friends, where there was no pressure to present a perfectly curated version of yourself.

Evil Eye is Not Real - How to Train Your Mind for Abundance
Recently, there have been so many social media outrages and debates revolving around the concept of the Evil eye and whether it is real or not, and how other people’s negative energy or wishing bad upon us can lead to our downfall. While there are a lot of contrasting opinions about this concept, there is no research or scientific study that can prove whether this is real or not. I firmly believe the notion of the evil eye is rooted in superstitious and cultural beliefs that people who are envious of your growth or the light that you behold wish bad upon you or send curses your way which ultimately leads to ill health or losing the abundance that is present in your life.

Is It Acceptable to Kiss in an Office?
This is always a hot topic—workplace relationships. As so many of us are logging more hours at work than at home, it should also come as no surprise that connections — sometimes of the romantic variety — occur at work. And yet, as much as romantic relationships can sometimes flourish in these spaces, it also raises important questions about professionalism and boundaries. A common query is: Is kissing in the office acceptable?

C. Content Warning. AI-Generated.
It was a Friday evening, and I found myself driving through a neighborhood that seemed less than promising. Even though I worked as a Trial Clerk, a job that revolved around the legal field and crime. I typically did not care what others did in their free time. Which is why, I decided to go out with Corey. He was easygoing, different from the office type she was used to. He smoked pot, which was fine by me, even if I didn’t indulge. I knew that when he said they’d go to the movies, I would be meeting him at his house first. What I did not expect, though, was what my eyes saw.

Why Women Make The Mistakes Again And Again?
Mistakes are a part of life, and for many women, certain patterns appear to repeat, particularly in relationships. Trust me, I understand — I’ve made the same mistakes repeatedly. But is this entirely our fault? Hardly. I’m a woman, and I’ve seen firsthand how easy it is to get caught up in cycles of choosing the wrong person, investing in the wrong situation, or believing the wrong intentions. After my most recent mistake — a painful experience that forced me to step back and rethink everything — I embarked on a journey of self-discovery to figure out why this kept happening. I wanted to get back to a healthier, more confident version of myself, ready to face the future with clarity and resilience. And I’ve realised that I’m not alone — this is a story shared by many women all over the world.
