Bound by Heart, Longing for Home
Just remembered and wrote a few words casually. This sentence has to be said since high school. In September 2000, I entered the only high school in the county, which was my first time leaving home, actually just over 20 miles away. To be honest, I didn't like staying there and wasn't used to it. I was used to being lazy at home and couldn't carry out my fishing life, which was very frustrating. I was trapped inside the wall all day long, and had to rely on flying eaves and walls to get out, or disguised as a day student to get by, and was often caught. So I looked forward to the monthly homecoming week all day long, looking forward to the stars and moon, and missing home. Actually, when you say you miss home, it doesn't mean that a man can't live without his family. I just really wanted to see every blade of grass and tree in the house, see what changes there were. Every time I got home, I didn't stay at home, but went out to wander around, in the fields, forests, and rivers, and see where to catch fish. I didn't go home all day. At that time, there was a half-day off every Sunday afternoon in school, and my colleagues who lived in the dormitory usually went shopping It left a deep impression on me. After class ended at 12 o'clock, I quickly ran to the station and took the 12:15 bus. I got off at around 12:45 and entered my house around 1:05. As time passed, the ticket seller recognized me. I even saw her once during International Workers' Day in Tangshan this year and greeted her. She even referred to herself as my aunt.

How do you restart?
I used to play this old video game when I was younger. One of my classmates back in high school had recommended it to me, and I easily became fascinated with the concept of playing a game where you go on an adventure with your pet companion as you battle your way to victory. It’s easy to say that I got addicted so fast that I would even stay up till midnight playing, trying to be careful not to be seen and get scolded by my parents.

Why things aren’t changing (for you)
The sad reality is that for a lot of us, our lives have been pretty much the same. We do the same things, we get the same results, and we constantly wish for a change, we want the world to change, for it to become a better place, a nicer place and everything we imagine. In the same way we want our lives to become better, maybe earn more or even just to do better the things we already do.

The easy way out
One fact I wish more people knew about is just how lazy their brains are, especially when it comes to analyzing events and drawing conclusions. Our brains will always seek the easiest solution to avoid having to do a lot of work purposefully so to save on energy, time and resources. What this means is that in every occasion we have to make use of our willpower to push our brains not to limit itself to the basic conclusion but to go beyond.

Back In The Game
Hello All!! Yesterday, I became $170 richer than I have been these past several weeks. Put to the backburner are constant survey rejections and completions towards tedious $5 gains (for gas, and, for a far more debatable expense, in food), borrowing money once more in desperation when available survey and sometimes internet resources were held staunchly out of grasp, and, to the positive, a healthy territory of being unable to indulge in those things which seek to swallow my senses and draw them to lack and regret.

Jinns
There are numerous references to jinn in the Qur'an and Hadith (sayings of Prophet Mohammed). According to Islamic writings, jinn live alongside other creatures but form a world other than that of mankind. Though they see us they cannot be seen. Characteristics they share with human beings are intellect and freedom to choose between right and wrong and between good and bad,3 but their origin is different from that of man: 'And indeed, we created man from dried clay of altered mud and the Jinn we created aforetime from the smokeless flame of fire'.8 Jinn tempt and seduce mankind to stray from Allah (God); Satan (shaytan, devil) is thought to be from their realm.

The Myth of the Perfect Partner
The desire for a perfect partner is one that has been deeply ingrained in society for generations. We are taught to believe that there is someone out there who will complete us, someone who will effortlessly understand us and love us unconditionally. This idea is heavily perpetuated in popular culture and media, and it's no wonder that many people feel an intense pressure to find that perfect someone. However, the reality is that this idea of the perfect partner is a myth. In reality, the pursuit of perfection in a partner can be detrimental to finding real love.

Blame it on the circumstances
There are many reasons which can explain and possibly justify our current demise, in this article I’ll go through them and feel free to make use of them as an excuse the next time someone asks you why you failed. These are all legitimate reasons to justify failure, despite our best wishes and intentions we often fail as a result of these circumstances. Life is a complex journey filled with twists and turns, ups and downs which eventually lead us to either success or failure. While it’s tempting to attribute all setbacks to fate, a closer examination reveals a multitude of factors which contribute to our struggles.

Why good ideas fail
People often look for these “great ideas” and put in all their energy into it because they trust the greatness of the ideas is all it takes. I won’t refute or endorse that, however in this article I want to share with you some reasons why even great or good ideas can fail, not in an attempt to discourage you but rather to create some awareness in your mind so you can be prepared.

Patience is a Virtue
Stuck in a time loop. Not sure where to go, what to do or how to be. To be me is to be free from all of this. To have a life I want and strive for. Lost dedication and failed motivation. Some don’t give up but what if your will is draining. Constant state of tire and yet you struggle to find some hope. You spend to get some motivation. You pay to get inspiration but do you end up getting it? The things you pay for becomes a temporary fix. Like a pay to play scenario. We pay to play the game of life.

There's Always Another Way. Content Warning.
Introduction This is a Seven Days In post from 2015, nine years back, about what I thought were anger issues. While many things annoy me I still don't get angry. In my workplaces the most anger I have seen has always been from men and was usually excused by "You know what they're like" or "But they're good at their job", for me neither is an excuse when the anger happens on a regular basis.
