Let me share a confession story with you. I have various artists following me who try to promote their artwork because I had purchased one of their pieces in the past. I appreciate their efforts, but how can I find it in my heart to tell them that I only bought their NFTs because I thought I was getting in early? If they are struggling to sell, why would I buy their art when it's evident that there's no market for it?

Here's how the story unfolds: One sunny day, I came across a talented artist who was making waves in the NFT world. I really admired their work and decided to purchase one of their NFTs. I believed I had stumbled upon something that would turn into a lucrative investment. I thought I was entering the market at an early stage, and it would explode with popularity.

However, as time went by, it became apparent that the market didn't favor the artwork I had bought. People weren't rushing to buy it, and the artist was struggling to sell their work. They faced numerous challenges.

Meanwhile, other artists who had noticed that I had previously bought an NFT started approaching me and trying to promote their own works, as if I were their number one customer. I appreciated their efforts, but deep down, I wondered why they thought I would buy their art when it was evident that the market didn't support it.

It troubled me to the core that I couldn't bring myself to tell them the truth. I couldn't be straightforward and confess that I had only purchased their NFTs before because I believed I was getting in early. It burned inside me, causing discomfort.

However, being a person with a conscience, I realized that I couldn't simply nod and pretend as though I would buy their art. I resolved to find the right words to tell them the truth while still encouraging their artistic endeavors.

So one day, I mustered up the courage to gather them all for a meeting. I began by expressing my appreciation for their talents and dedication to the NFT space. I acknowledged that I truly believed in their artistry and skills. Then, I explained that I had made mistakes in the past.

I admitted that I had thought I was getting in early into the market, but it hadn't turned out that way. I shared that I had observed the challenges they faced in selling their art due to the tough market conditions. I emphasized that it had become difficult for me to invest in their NFTs.

I pleaded with them not to take it personally and assured them that it wasn't a lack of faith in their abilities. I advised them to keep pushing forward, finding ways to stand out, and assured them that success could come at any time.

As I finished speaking, I noticed mixed expressions on their faces. Some looked disappointed, while others seemed to understand my perspective. Overall, they appreciated the honesty I had shown them.

From that day on, our relationship changed slightly. They no longer aggressively promoted their works to me, but we continued to relate to each other with mutual respect and a shared love for art. I hope that as time goes on, they will find success in their endeavors, and perhaps I will be able to genuinely support them.

So that's my confession story, my friends.
