The Shattered Prophecy - Part 1
The storm had rolled in swiftly, blanketing the sky in thick, churning clouds that crackled with distant lightning. Rain fell in an unrelenting sheet, hammering the worn cobblestone path beneath Raelyn’s boots as she pulled her cloak tighter around her shoulders. The three companions had been traveling for weeks since their battle with Vaelmar, seeking rest and purpose in a world that no longer required their heroism.

The Life of Levi Rupp: Part 3
Levi began making his way to a fresh week at school, walking with his practice bag slung over his shoulder and his book bag hanging in front of him as he began walking the few blocks to get to campus. Levi left before his alarm ever went off, he wanted to get to the locker room early to drop off his gear and get a morning workout in as well. The gym doors were locked, and it appeared that Levi had arrived before Coach Peters did, when he saw headlights beaming from behind him. “Levi?” Coach asked from his car door, “Coach!” Levi waved at Coach Peters who was amazed and probably confused to see him there so early. “What are you doing here so early?” “Well, I wanted to drop off my gear to my locker and get a morning workout in.” “A morning workout?” “Yeah, if that’s okay?” “You know we have practice everyday after school right?” “Yes?” Coach shrugged and opened the gym, flicking the lights on. “Don’t be late to your first period. I will not vouch for you.” “You got it, Coach.”

Glass Winter | Chapter VII. Content Warning.
Figures materialised on a white horizon, some two hundred yards from the mouth of the cavern. From this distance it would be impossible to make out the trench wall of snow concealed by the blizzard, nor what lay behind it. By the time Sevt and company were seen and directed to the encampment the winds had shredded enough, and the huskies were too weak to stand. Quin had shielded Aurora behind his back from most of it while his own face bled, and Sevt suffered a similar, albeit graver, injury while leaping behind the rest with a shard of the wrecked punt as a cane.
