Stalked By Butterflies
With Some Pictures That I Took

I don't know if it's because it is spring to summer in the Northern Hemisphere, but over the last two weeks I seem to be getting staked by butterflies. Today, there have been three Cabbage Whites and one Red Admiral.
Butterflies don't bother us too much because they look beautiful, and they don't sting. They are also a perfect Spoonerism "A Butter Fly can Flutter By".
One of the problems is that I like taking and sharing pictures of things, but unfortunately for me, butterflies seldom stay still, although I have found some in the past, but I forget where I took them.

They are all my pictures from my Google feed, so I obviously can capture them in pictures sometimes.
Here is a link to identify them, if you so wish:
And this is the Butterfly Conservation site:
The video is amazing, and I love the quote from Carl Sagan, who says :
"Like A Butterfly
We Live for A Day
And Think It's Forever"
I really just wanted to share my butterfly experience with you and I hope you enjoy the pictures and the video.

Thank you everyone for your wonderful comments, they are really appreciated
Thanks so much for this injection of beauty! What a wonderful rainbow to be stalked by! I especially love the video!! I'll be sharing this with others who teach young girls to dance. β‘πβ‘
"Butterflies flutter by awkward & elegant...." So begins a poem I wrote a few years back when I had first started on Vocal.
They may look pretty but they still scare the shit out of me, lol
Butterflies are very beautiful
Love the pictures. There is an IMAX film that I have seen all about the butterfly migration to the North and then back Good job.
Thanks for sharing your butterfly storyβit made me smile. That Carl Sagan quote really hits you. Thereβs something kind of magical about how fleeting and free butterflies are.
I adore butterflies. Such a stunning creature. On the flip side, I also love moths as well.
