Morning Magic: How Brain Waves and Meditation Enhance Your Day
Transform Your Mind: Morning Strategies for Enhanced Creativity and Focus
The average young person checks their Instagram account 150 times a day. Because that’s how they design applications.
Because, companies pay a lot of money to understand what we do, how we do it, and why we do it.
Features such as unlimited new content and dopamine release attract us mostly.
However, if you are looking at your phone first when you wake up in the morning, that means you are causing yourself a lot of trouble.
Brain Waves
There are 4 main brain waves.
“Beta” is the wave state we are in right now, we are awake.
“Delta” is the brain wave state when we are in deep sleep.
Among them, “Theta” and “Alpha” waves are extremely important brain waves needed to learn anything.
Theta is the brain wave state when you fall asleep and wake up. This is called creativity. When we are most creative it often comes in the Theta state.
Think of the time right before you go to sleep at night. You are in such a deep wave state that new ideas constantly come to your brain. This is due to the Theta state.
Another thing that puts us in the Theta state is taking a shower. If you’ve noticed, you come up with your best ideas while you’re in the shower.
Your mind wanders and you become lost in thought. This happens because you are in the Theta brainwave state.
Beta is the state in which we are most awake and aware, that is, the state we are in now.
“Alpha” is a learning situation. While in this wave state, you can quickly learn something with ease and awareness. This is the brain state we are in when we meditate.
We absorb information to the exclusion of critical thoughts. Also, to give an example, television puts us in an alpha state without realizing it.
Just think your kids…
You can never talk to them if they are watching a match or a TV series, right? It’s like they can’t hear you. This is what happens because of television programming.
Language experts also teach people different languages easily with this method. They bring them to an alpha state, a state of relaxed awareness, and enable them to learn information even if they are not aware of it.
I believe this should be taught in schools as well.
In schools, we teach mathematics, history, science, and English. But we don’t teach how we should learn.
There are no classes on critical thinking.
How to decide?
How to solve the problem?
How to concentrate?
How to read faster?
Answers to questions such as “How can I remember more after learning?” are not taught in school.
There is no learning without remembering, and this is truly the basis of everything.

Critical Morning Time
When you first wake up in the morning, you are in an alpha-theta wave state.
And if you’re looking at your phone first thing, you’re causing big trouble.
The reason is that every like, comment, share, and message you receive at night, in short, everything directs your attention to something else. And because you’re in a sensitive brainwave state, you’re affected by it much more than usual.
For example, you wake up in the morning, and the first thing you read is bad news on your phone. It’s much more likely that you will have a bad day.
That’s why awareness is so important.
Morning Meditation
Meditating in the morning is a good solution to this. I’m not saying meditate every day to be at peace. This is also so important, but at least, do this because it is a mental exercise.
It increases your mental ability.
Let’s say your mind has wandered somewhere else, here is your opportunity. Breathe and bring your mind back.
Affirmations
Another critical point is to take nouns and turn them into actions.
What do I mean by this?
Most people wake up and say these sentences. I hope I have energy today, I hope I have motivation, I hope I can be creative, I hope I do my homework, I hope I can concentrate.
These are not things one can have. They are things that humans do. So you don’t actually have any energy.
You do things that give you energy.
The same goes for learning. It’s not like you lack concentration. To concentrate, you need to do a few things. I hope my memory is good. You can empower him to remember better.
Being Creative
There is no such thing as creativity.
There are things you have to do to be creative.
If you want to improve your self-confidence in one day, learn about brain waves. Seriously, you will experience an incredible self-confidence boost. And instantly.
Because the human brain is the most powerful computer in the universe.
They say knowledge is power.
But this is a lie.
Knowledge has the potential to be power.
People buy books and keep them in libraries with a thought of improvement.
However, doing this will only make the room look like a library.
It won’t give you any support.
Many people listen to podcasts. They attend conferences. They pay so much money. But they don’t do anything with this information.
One reason for this is that they forget.
Just as there is a learning curve, there is also a forgetting curve.
And this curve says that after 48 hours of learning something, you forget 80% of it.
For example, if you do not remember and repeat what you learned in this article, you will forget 80% of it after 2 days.
That’s why memory is so important.
And that’s why you should definitely not touch your phone first thing.
Be the best version of yourself.
May your mental performance be good.
And make it a habit to not look at any screens before going to sleep.
Everyone should know that phones, tablets, and computers emit blue light.
And this prevents you from secreting melatonin.
The hormone melatonin helps you relax and sleep. If you sleep looking at your phone, you have learned the reason why you are an aggressive person.
Apart from this, I write down three goals in particular on a piece of paper at night.
So when I go to sleep and wake up with this goal, I have a vision for my life. And my mind focuses on that goal.
If I complete these the other day, I say that day was successful for me.
Once I’m on my phone, after I wake up, I don’t touch my phone without doing at least one of the things on my list.
This is a challenge I set for myself.
It’s not always perfect, but you improve over time.
Be confident and test yourself.
Maybe keeping your phone out of your bedroom for a week may work.
Don’t touch your phone for the first hour after waking up, and in that hour be the “thermostat”, “not the thermometer.”
Because what does a thermometer do?
Thermometer reacts according to temperature and the environment almost adjusts itself to that temperature.
This is a bad way of living.
Of course, we react to the weather and how people treat us. But we always have control of our situation, right? That’s what the thermostat does.
The thermostat selects a temperature and raises the environment to that temperature.
And you want to be the thermostat because you wish for it.
Because a person who is happy with everything wouldn’t follow this far, right?
Remember, if you don’t repeat this information, you will forget 80% of it after 48 hours.
