The girls were put in separate cells but close enough for them to hear each other. Sashi could hear Ize crying out loud. “Ize, Kulungile; YA zdes'. Ukhuselekile!” Sashi said, trying to reassure her. “Sa-Sashi?” Ize said through sobs “Ingaba ty?” “Da. Ndim. Vy udarilis’?” Sashi whispered. “Hayi: Ty?” Ize replied in the whisper.
