(Working in a hospital was quite the experience for me. I always seemed to notice all the different titles that medical professionals had. I was thinking one day about this chapter and when taking state boards for nursing there were at times on that exam questions that used some of these initials. One must have knowledge of these so in the future one does ask one profession to do an activity that another profession cannot do. Medical titles are important for there are different types of care that patients will receive in the hospital and several types of professionals performing these duties.
