The 5 AM Club: Own Your Morning. A book for self-improvement, ”Elevate Your Life. ” by Robin Sharma is about the magic of waking up early in the morning. Sharma uses the concept of the Victory Hour, which is further divided into three 20-minute segments: movement, reflection and growth. These are the early practices designed to create discipline, focus, and personal mastery.

The plot of the book revolves around four characters: The main character an entrepreneur, an artist, an eccentric billionaire, and the writer. They study productivity techniques that emphasize self-development aspects which point to the effectiveness of discipline, value investing, as well as scheduling time for intense focus.

One of the features of the book is the “20/20/20 formula” authored by Sharma – it is a list of practices marked by scientific evidence as essential for increasing efficiency and achievement. The formula inspires readers from the moment they wake up to engage in an exercise for at least 20 minutes to boost dopamine and serotonin levels, follow this by 20 minutes of deep contemplation or journaling to gain perspective, and the last 20 minutes to read something, or expand their knowledge in a particular area.

It gives stress to timely and regular practice and asserts initiates that real success is achieved not in ambulant, but in daily practice. It also prescribes morning as the best time to be used in the pursuit of one’s venture without the normal interferences. To substantiate his principles, Sharma uses references to neurology, behavioural psychology and inspirational narratives based on his own experience as a trainer and life coach; Sharma preserves such consistent leitmotivs as courage, discipline, and responsibility.
