Book Review: Twisted Games #2 by Ana Huang
If you are curious or if you are a fan of Ana Huang, check out her whole series ( you won't be disappointed).

My overall opinion/review of this book alone is beautiful. I have never read a novel like this before because I'm not into romance. But Ana Huang is going to have me love this category a lot more. I don't know if you all have been to the book section of social media lately, but this author has been getting popular by the minute. So far I can honestly say, she is up there with "Colleen Hoover" who is known for her "It Ends With Us" best seller and the top pick for romance. For the past weeks, I kept passing by YouTube book recs and social media book recs for the LONGEST. And when I keep passing by things, that means I need to check it out. I started with book 2 of the "Twisted" series because since this series is standalone (read them in different orders) I had to try book 2 out first. And I hate to say this but part 2 is my favorite. While everyone else is fawning over part 1 book, I am drooling over part 2. Here is why...
Book Sypnosis:
The book is about a woman named Bridget Von Asheberg who is a princess in a royal family. Her old bodyguard is getting replaced by a new bodyguard named Rhys Larsen. At first, the two main characters can not get along or agree on anything. But the more they get to know each other the more things between them spice up. But there is a catch, the princess is forbidden to be with anyone who is not of noble blood or who is a staff member under the royal kingdom overall.
Now I can't say as much because I don't want to spoil it for you. But I can say it was a wild ride. A ride that I may say was enjoyable. I completely indulged in this and did not want to put it down. The experience that I had with this book was unimaginable. I can't blame any female who is obsessed with this series because it is by far a good selection for romance. The next part I am about to mention is what the series is about overall.
Series Sypnosis:
The series surrounds itself with 4 female main characters who are friends. And in each book, each female has their own "TWISTED" love story. In the first one, you have Ava Chen, the second one is Bridget Von Asheberg, the third is Jules Ambrose, and the final one is Stella Alonso. In each book, all of the girls are mention by one another in their stories.
As for the 4 male main characters, I will have to let you get to know them on your own because you won't be disappointed. As you know, I have already said one main male love interest (Rhys Larsen). However, I would like you all to make the male connections when you start reading the series.
Ana Huang did a fantastic job with the characters and their dynamic in book 2. I also loved the way she wrote Rhys's character as well. Basically, his character has a bad boy type of vibe going on that I like. So you have a bad boy with a sad childhood and a good girl princess who was served a life on a silver platter which is quite amusing if you ask me. The most likable thing that I like the most is the character being mysterious. And the other main character trying to figure out what is this person's story of life. With both characters from different sides of the world, what can possibly go wrong? To be quite frank, I love stories like this because it sheds light on people who do fall in love with other people who are very different from what they are used to seeing. And that my friends, is a wonderful story to tell.
This story also teaches readers that just because your country lives by certain rules of love, this doesn't mean you have to live by them either. Follow what your heart is saying. Don't let your family, friends, or anyone tell you who you can be with.
