The makeup and skincare industry is a billion-dollar industry that most women adore. Drug-Store Everyday Makeup Routine!
Moisturizer! I know you have seen countless threads of this all over Instagram, but you need to MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE! Moisturizing and Priming are two totally different things, and you need to be doing both to get the trending "glow" right now! I have been using the Le Petit Marseillais Shea Butter, Aloe & Beeswax Body Milk from Wal-Mart. It retails for only $5. It contains shea, aloe, and beeswax, and it is totally safe to use around the eye area. For that "essential glow", I use the L'Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Glotion $11.39, or the Rimmel London Good to Glow Highlighter $4.29. If you want more of a shade range, the Lumi Glotion, has 4 shades Including: Fair Glow, Light Glow, Medium Glow, and Deep Glow. Rimmel London is cheaper, but it only has 2 shades. Notting Hill Glow, and Soho Glow. I am fair skinned, so if you have a deeper skin-tone, I would give L'Oreal a try!

Every Note Leaves a Mark
I don’t know about you but my favorite part of doing makeup is playing with my eyeshadow. I love to sit and mix colors together, discover different techniques and discover new brands. However, with a lot of us and the time we have in the mornings, being able to actually sit and play with our makeup can be far from our morning routine. With so many new inventions in the beauty industry, the one I have found that really sets everything else apart is eyeshadow pencils. With the pencil that is a liner, primer and pigment all in one, you can create a beautiful, dramatic look in the amount of time it takes to turn on your coffee maker.

A Guide to Everyday Makeup
Step 1: Cleanse your face and neck to remove any dirt and to clean out your pores. I would recommend using Garnier Micellar water or cleansing milk with a cotton pad. This will leave your face feeling fresh without the use of harsh chemicals. Your face will be left looking smooth and vibrant. Alternatively, wash you face with hot water to remove any dirt and then wash with cold water to close up the port to stop any more dirt from entering.

Makeup vs. Trust Issues
If you told my 15-year-old self that I'd fall in love with makeup, she'd probably laugh at you. I was a thick-liner-and-cheap-mascara kind of teenager, trying to be as punk as my mother would allow me to be. Here I am, just turned 27, sitting at work with a new lipstick and lip liner I bought on my lunch break teasing me on my desk. I have more makeup to my name now than I did my entire childhood.
