Dear Graduates - Here's Everything I Learned Since Leaving College (Part I)
Hey Class of 2022... Congratulations! You've probably completed a gruelling degree at college (or university) and you can bask in this moment. First piece of advice? Do bask in this moment. From now on, the big milestones can come further and further apart, so make sure to celebrate them as much as you can when they do arrive.

Speaking Into The Ether. Top Story - May 2022.
Dear Mummy, You’ve been gone a long time. Far too long in my opinion. But that’s the weird thing about life and death isn’t it? There is not enough time in life; we will always say that we wish we could have longer with our loved ones before they depart. Yet when the time does indeed arrive, the aftermath seems to last far beyond what seems bearable; there is too much time in death. That’s my takeaway from the past 13 years without you anyway.

Why Learning to Say "I Need You" is a Huge Act of Strength
I don't remember the last time I said, "I need you," out loud to anyone. Perhaps my inner heart whispered it as I tentatively asked if we can go for a coffee, but I caveat my request by saying, "I totally understand if you're busy though." Honestly, I think the last time I said, "I need you," was when I was 20, and even then I can't guarantee that I was even brave enough to say it out loud to the intended recipient.

Green Flags in the Workplace
It's a known fact that the average person spends 1/3 of their life working. It's also a known fact that a lot of people are unhappy in their jobs. We've all heard of "The Great Resignation" before so I won't go into it any further. But the point is that a lot of people are deciding that they've had enough of their current situation and they're taking matters into their own hands - be it because of money, poor workplace politics, mental health etc.

Pulling My Tarot Cards Everyday for a Week Helped My Mental Health
I've always been fascinating by tarot cards. I like the idea that there is a force operating in the world beyond that which is perceptible by the five senses. I suppose, I like the idea of believing in magic because the one thing I've learned since becoming an adult is that it is dangerously easy to become sucked into the humdrum of the "real world" and lose that childlike sense of exploration, curiosity and play.

A 10 Minute Hack To Boost Your Wellbeing
Let's Face It - January Sucks It's January, which for many is a time of feeling a distinct sense of "bleugh" and fatigue. Heck, in the U.K., January 17th is known as "Blue Monday," which is said to be the saddest day of the year. Whether or not you believe it to be true, I can at least say that I'd be utterly unsurprised if January was indeed the saddest month of the year.

How many times have you had that moment where you can look back and think "aha... that's when everything changed"? I would like to think that life is sprinkled full of them, but as a twenty-something year old, you may need to give me a few more decades before I can provide a definitive answer to that.

Our Final Moments
Beep, beep, beep, the monitor hummed steadily. It emitted a calming sound. It was stable and you knew what to expect, similar to a metronome or a rain drop beating down the same spot on a windowsill. The sound was accompanied by a rising and falling green light indicating the heart rate of my mother. The two would have been quite a beautiful, synchronous pairing had it not been for the fact I could quite literally see my mother’s life before my own eyes.
