My Avril Lavigne Days
Though I was a Whitney Houston Fan and loved toning my vocals on all her songs, I pretty much grew up dreaming that Avril Lavigne was solely born to write and sing my theme songs ("Complicated" Avril Lavigne). It was like the Universe knew exactly when to play the right song of hers. The Universe played her songs every time when something happened to me, either when I was rejected, heartbroken, or in a complicated situation, or was just being plain stupid; no exaggeration, well maybe just a little.

11 Hindi Songs To Start Your Day With
Two years ago, if someone would have told me what was coming up, I wouldn't have believed them. But here we are almost 14 months into the quarantine period, sure that this will last for a few more months at least. During this pandemic, the time has been passing slowly and rapidly at the same time. And something constant is the music that I have been listening to. Yes, I can admit that I have been hooked to the same playlist for the past year.

Sleep Therapy, Hard Things, And The Wrath Of Hell
As a singer, most, if not all, of my life revolves around music. So I could never choose just one song that has changed my life, because there have been so many pieces of music over many different genres and periods of my life that have affected me in one way or another. But there are a few that have stood out a little extra over the years.

Say What...?
Hello again, all. For as much as I love my vintage animation/comedy, my figure collections, or reflecting back on my past errors in judgments and whether or not THAT could have, unfortunately, made me part of someone else's #MeToo story, I do love my 80's rock, 90's country, and 80's/90's pop. I could listen to it for a goo two/three hours a sit vs. a row of maybe two or three "modern" songs.

from Bach to Ariana Grande
I make music for living. I went to pre-college and college majoring in music and earned in total now; 2 and a half degrees, pays my mom's bills using my voice, which means almost next to nothing about this music playlist I'm brainstorming in my head.

Underrated Love songs (And a few extra). Top Story - May 2021.
In these crazy and uncertain times, where face masks are the requirement (or at least highly recommended) to go out and isolation isn’t all self imposed now, in the horrors of the Covid-19 Pandemic squelching our semblance of peace and security by even just stopping by the grocery store—- my recommendation is something that may seem trivial but it can be cathartic: love songs. This brings you back to a simpler time, but also a very complicated one. Being a teenager. All of your teenage angst. And the romance it brought up! Here is mine----along with my original writer's findings that this article had sought to relay.

Reconsidering Weezer: A Definitive Album Ranking
The Mandalay Bay Events Center bustled with eager 30 and 40-somethings ready to relive a better time in their lives. As my wife and I approached the doors, we could hear the erratic sounds of the opening act, Pixies. We entered as they powered through their cover of my favorite Jesus & Mary Chain song, "Head On."

euphoria / melancholia
Most of what I choose to listen to can be generally described as "heavy". Whether it's rock or electronic, I struggle to be engaged by songs that don't hit hard. For whatever reason though, when a certain mood strikes, I find myself listening to Lana Del Rey for an entire day. I've realised that when it comes to soothing music, there are certain types of sad that render me powerless. From The Beatles to Enya, I've decided to categorise the different versions of sad that I turn to when I want to feel my softer emotions.

Stereotypes Of High School
I was kind of an outcast in school, so my twin sister and I just kinda formed our own clique. Sure we sometimes hung out with a small group of “nerds” but even then I didn’t really feel like I fit in. My escape was music. I’d take my headphones to school and zone out when I felt overwhelmed, which happened more often than not. I wasn’t bullied or anything, but my sister was and it often landed on me to take care of it. I got into a lot of fights, which I’m not proud of, but it felt necessary at the time.
