Song Review: No Turning Back II – A Dance Between Devotion and Discomfort.
When I first heard No Turning Back II by Gaise Baba and Lawrence Oyor, I was instantly intrigued. Part of that attraction came from the nostalgic core of the track—an old Sunday School classic that many of us grew up singing: “I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back.” It’s a song that lives in the bones of many Nigerian Christians, a musical thread linking childhood faith with adult conviction. The version presented here, layered with afrobeat energy and spiritual fervor, is undeniably catchy and energizing.

"The Sound of Silence"
In the green hills of Lower Dir, where the mountains cast long shadows over narrow valleys and rivers whispered ancient songs, there was a village known for its noise. Vendors called out in the mornings, children ran through the narrow paths laughing and shouting, and elders gathered in the square to argue politics over tea. Life moved in rhythm with sound.

5 Lessons I Wish I Knew in My 20s
Life-changing advice I learned the hard way — that you can learn now. When I look back at my 20s, I feel a mix of emotions. There was excitement, confusion, ambition — and a lot of mistakes. It’s a time when we try to figure out who we are, what we want, and where we’re going. But truthfully, I wish someone had told me a few simple things back then.

Left on the Shelf - A Song
This is a poem I've been tweaking and working on every now and then... It never felt just right, but it was also one of those that I could never quite bring myself to chunk completely. I think because it is so close to my heart... a stage of healing. It is perhaps one of the most personal poems I've ever written, and while I'm still tweaking the execution of the music, I think it was perhaps destined to be a song.
