Pink Floyd and their Dark Moon
Fifty years... It makes me a little uncomfortable to accept that I am almost as old as The Dark Side of Moon, Pink Floyd's most semiotically recognized and respected album. There are several versions of the recording available, including the new boxset that includes several versions of key tracks and concert footage that proves that the band was still finding some way to make every piece fit the overall puzzle. The one thing that I did not do last week - when the anniversary was official for us (March 1st was the North American release date; March 16th in the U.K.) - was play the album. I had no need to after realizing all that time had passed. Those who have heard it will never forget the experience; those who have not heard it will have every opportunity possible to enjoy it (try it on YouTube, Spotify, your uncle or dad's old turntable - you know that there is copy around that thing). So, it is a memory that won't be shaken. But I thought it would be interesting to discuss my own relationship with the album. Let's go back...

Difference Between Holi And Holika Dahan | Holi Festival 2023
Holi and Holika Dahan are two different but related events that are celebrated during the Hindu festival of Holi. Holika Dahan, also known as Chhoti Holi or Holika Puja, is a ritual that takes place on the night before the main Holi celebration. It involves lighting a bonfire and burning an effigy of Holika, a demoness who, according to Hindu mythology, tried to kill Prahlad, a devotee of Lord Vishnu. The bonfire symbolizes the victory of good over evil, and the burning of Holika represents the triumph of devotion and righteousness over wickedness and arrogance.

Multi-Hyphenate Actor, Recording Artist, and Filmmaker Amir Royale Drops Seductive Single “Pruane” (feat. Lulu Kirtchuk and Devereaux)
From Amir Royale I’ve tasted toxicity. I’ve lusted after romance in a way that may have been unhealthy for a couple of years. I’ve misunderstood cues during intimacy before but have also had partners not reciprocate my passion or attention to detail. “Pruane” is about being in that center space between ‘DTF buddies’ and ‘soulmates.’ That unspoken sense of attachment intertwined with the minutiae of apathy. Somewhere smack in the middle of possessive and protective, sexual and sensual, in-love and out of it. We search for the love we think we deserve – and the people that are right for us; we often overlook or undervalue them. Maybe one day I’ll finally start getting all this stuff right. ‘Til then, I’m content sitting still. Walk good, take care. 🌺❤️🩹🌺
