King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard: All About the Australian Psych Rockers
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. The music is just as weird as the name would imply. The seven piece psychedelic rock group from Melbourne, Australia, is composed of Lucas Skinner on bass, Cook Craig and Joey Walker on guitar, drummers Eric Moore and Michael Cavanaugh (Yes, they have two drummers, Eric also doubling as the bands manager, and record label owner), keys, harmonicist, and occasional vocalist Ambrose Kenny Smith, and vocalist, guitarist, bassist, flutist, drummer, songwriter, zurna player, and many, many other credits, Stu Mackenzie. The man is the mastermind behind the group, and is what gives the group their special sauce.

Greta Van Fleet, Zeppelin, and Stealing
Greta Van Fleet have been making the rounds on the internet and the music industry recently, blowing up mostly this year. The band has gotten pretty good coverage, being called the “Rebirth of Rock and Roll” and other fun things like that, but, like most artists, they’ve got some criticism too. “Led Zeppelin Rip-Offs” are usually the most used term thrown around for them and at first listen you can see why. The riffs are similar, the vibe, the chord progressions, and of course the vocals, but is it really fair to put all of this against them? No. It's not.

Legendary Band, Great Music That Is Queen. Top Story - July 2018.
As soon as I heard the song “These Are the Days of Our Lives” I fell head over heels in love with the music of Queen. I had heard their songs on the radio but hadn’t taken the time to really listen to them until this particular song. Even now I enjoy watching videos of Queen through YouTube and watching Freddie Mercury’s dynamite performances always brings a tear to my eye. He was such a great talent and certainly much too young to be taken from this world but the music of Queen and the videos keep him alive and in our minds and in our hearts.

Punk Isn't Dead, You're Just Not Looking Hard Enough
We're in a much different world today than we were back in the early 2000's. Culture identities, social life, politics, brands, and music have all taken twists and turns in the past 20 years or so. Back in punk's glory days, bands such as Blink-182, Green Day, Sum-41, Alkaline Trio, Taking Back Sunday, and many more were selling out arenas, getting air time on radio stations, and bringing out the inner emo in us every second they could.

Why It’s Time to Stop Calling Greta Van Fleet the Next Led Zeppelin
From their breakthrough onto the rock ’n’ roll scene, Greta Van Fleet has been garnering comparisons to the legendary Led Zeppelin. Now, there are definitely worse things to be linked to but it doesn’t help that from the moment they started to be recognizable, they were dubbed “the band that sounds like Led Zeppelin.”

What I Learned From Chester Bennington's Death
Some of us are looking forward to Friday. Where I'm from, many schools are breaking up for the summer that day - it's a day to celebrate, to get excited, to dream up ideas for things to do to fill six sunny, carefree weeks. I should be one of those people. But as excited as I am to finish the school year, my mind will go somewhere else during the final assembly. More precisely, to thoughts of someone else. Someone who can't be with us anymore.

5 of the Best Rock Bands I’d Suggest Seeing Live
I am a bit of a concert junkie and I’m a proud metalhead. I’ve been going to concerts with my dad since I was 10. I feel at home when I’m attending a concert; we’re all just one big family. The atmosphere of concerts is something just purely amazing. Below will be a list of my top 5 favorite bands that I’ve seen live, and I’m suggesting you go see them too before they’d retire or break up.
