bands
Rock n' roll, boy bands, jazz trios, and more; the greats, newbies, and forgotten icons who create our favorite groups.
Rex Orange County has the uncapped ability to paint an emotional rollercoaster and it's his version of a song.
The original capture of his musical prowess for me was his album, Apricot Princess. The low-driven approach that softly tingles your heartstrings has worked the many times I need a song. Sometimes it's just a happy song, a relaxing song, one for studying, and one for being more emotional. I don't always choose his music, but it might just reappear on my queue. Before I know it, I'm enticed by the gentle caressing nature of his music alone. But this song storyline and wording has this ability to make me remember things that I wasn't thinking about and cause me to get emotional. And for that reason, it can provide something new to me each time I listen.

Matia Music
There is Love... I need to talk about a woman that has touched my life deeply like no other human has ever done. Sometimes I get all teary eyed when I think of her of what she has done for me and others, including animals. Let me introduce to you Matia Brizman. Matia is a doctor, a singer, songwriter and animal rescuer. Matia plays a big role in my daily life. Listening to her music is a daily thing for me. I first learned about Matia about 15 years ago when my health started to fail. I was chronically ill, but with the care, help and incredible knowledge of Dr Matia Brizman I got better. She saved my life. Little did I know that she could sing. I found out years later. Not only can she sing, but she also writes her own songs and music and she plays instruments. Matia's song are outstanding. Her voice is so unique and incredibly beautiful. Her messages in her songs are so needed in this world. There is something in the lyrics and the music for everyone, including animals. My life has changed tremendously....Thank you Dr Matia Brizman, words can not express what you have given me, my children, my family, my friends, my animals. I am forever grateful.....

Undersung Artists
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected virtually every single human across the globe. Every industry is experiencing its own unique consequences to the crisis, and people who work in the performing arts industry have been hit especially hard. Performance spaces around the globe are closed indefinitely. Concerts, festivals, and other live events have been cancelled for at least the next few months. The bars and restaurants that used to host cocktail gigs are closed or only providing delivery and takeout services. The majority of musicians and other artists are self-employed, working freelance and hustling to fill their schedule with enough gigs to make ends meet. These conditions have made it all but impossible for most performing artists to work.

Punk culture LIVES.
We live in completely different times then those that punk dominated in the 80's and 00's. Punk culture has decreased in size for sure. This page isn't some bullshit that's going to make you think punks are dominating the world, but it's something that'll hopefully open your eyes.

Bands that should be on your radar
There is more of a chance for other rising musicians to make a name for themselves, and they have, but it's not the same acclaim as popular bands that got lucky for worldwide spread or had to work harder to get the name out there. The bands I have discovered the past years have had positive praises but not enough of a fanbase, it almost seems like it's an underground movement since it's not in the mainstream. We all love the same bands but at some point it gets tiring to see the same bands over and over again in the media or hearing it on the radio repeatedly. When there is other talent out there that just hasn't gotten that same treatment. Here is my list of bands you should listen to.

From the UK to the Sunset Strip
For a 16yr old kid living on a West Yorkshire council estate, the Sunset Strip in LA, California, would usually have no bearing or effect on their life, yet I and many of my friends from that time in my life could not have been more connected to the sleazy, rock n roll dreams played out in the infamous Rainbow Bar and Grill and its sister venue The Whiskey a Go Go.
