Smiles Make Life Brighter

My poem and songs about smiling

An Everlasting Smile

Though life makes you weary,

though the road is rough,

don’t carry the world upon your shoulders -

wear a smile each day.

When tears fall,

when worries come rolling in,

take the hand of a friend

and wear an everlasting smile.

Smiles make eyes bright,

make the day feel right,

warmth fills the heart,

when you’re surrounded by everlasting smiles.

In the quiet of your room,

leave the world outside your door,

chase away all the gloom,

put on the music that you love,

close your eyes and smile.

Wishing for you the very best,

put it to the test,

when you pile up your troubles with the rest -

you’ll be wearing an everlasting smile.
