The Reel Sisters
The Reel Sisters by Michelle Cummings is a book about a group of women from different walks of life and different ages come together to fly fish and socialize. They teach each other how to fish as well as give each other advice. It is almost like a book club full of women but instead of reading they catch and release fish in order to unwind and relax. They also meet a mysterious stranger on one of their fishing trips but in order to leave out spoilers I won’t go into further details of the new woman added to their little group.

The main character, Catrin, is the king’s daughter and is torn between her loyalty to her father and her lover Marcellus. Unfortunately, Marcellus is a Roman king’s son and their love is forbidden yet they keep trying to find each other. So it is a love story filled with historical inspired drama.

Watership Down by Richard Adams is a novel about bunny rabbits and their adventures of trying to find a new burrow. The main character, Hazel, is told by Fiverr, his faithful sidekick, that there is impending doom and that they need to leave and find a new place to live. Well none of the other rabbits believe that this small bunny can foresee the future so they end up traveling with a very small group thus beginning an incredible journey.

Burn Zones by Jorge P. Newbery is a brilliantly written story about the author himself. He wrote this autobiography about his financial and business endeavors. It includes how he received all of his gains as well as his losses. The title is based on the term "burn zones" which is where you either reach your biggest gain or loss. In order to reach those gains and losses one has to be willing to take risks and learn from those risks whether they result in a negative outcome or a positive one.

Give Americans Back Their Freedom In the year of 1776, the declaration of our independence in America was officially signed. This action gave us the freedom that our ancestors fought so hard to achieve. These freedoms include such items as the freedom of religion, the right to bear arms, and the freedom to petition. Yes, the freedom to petition which is our main freedom of speech to change the way we see things are going. I see major change in need of happening in America.

Parking Lot Paranoia
Trust...it’s hard to gain but easy to lose. I am alone in an empty parking lot at two in the morning with nothing but my phone and two freshly sharpened knives. I had just gotten off the phone with two of my friends, one of whom I thought I could trust. However, their stories are not matching up which leads me to believe that one of them is lying to me.
