Absolute Uncertainty On The Train
The sound of rapid metallic banging coupled with Bishop being flung to his right and slamming his head into a window… what a way to wake up. Pain seethes through Bishop’s temple. He grimaces and rubs his head. One of the joys of getting older. Bishop often falls asleep without planning on it, which results in waking up in alerted and urgent ways. Can’t be great for the heart.

Hot American Summer Sun
Thomas is caught in a half-sprint, half-stumble with just a dash of insane-arm-flailing as he flies across the tall weeds and crashes just behind an enormous oak tree. He pulls himself up from the dirt and pushes his back against the oak, hiding himself… from them. A cloud of dust settles in the air. Thomas tries to blow it away. It’s a dead giveaway. If they see the dust circling around him, they’ll know his exact location.

A Briefcase Across The Atlantic
The door bursts open and two bodies stumble into the room, shouting and swinging fists at each other. Salvador jolts awake in his bed, fists at the ready, eyes wildly darting around and trying to adjust to the darkness. A dingy yellow light from the hallway creeps across the floor. It doesn’t so much illuminate the dark room as it acts as a big yellow barrier that is painted in the center of these midnight blue, shadowy quarters.
