My Alien Vacation. Top Story - February 2024.
For my school break, we went on vacation to a backwoods planet in some faraway galaxy. The inhabitants call it Earth. It is mostly visited by scientific expeditions and poachers looking for exotic pets to sell on the black market, but my parents thought that it would be a good learning experience for my little sister and me. They wouldn’t even let me take my immersive reality suit with me, so it was a real snore fest. At least, it would have been if they hadn’t let me take Zorg with us.

Celeste and Little One
Celeste watched over the field as the other unicorns grazed beneath the rainbow arch. She could not bear to face them. The Selkie’s Skin. Top Story - February 2024.
I can hear her searching for me downstairs. Utensils and jewelry clang against the floor as she tosses them out of every drawer imaginable. The drawers themselves land with a thud against the hardwood floor as she throws them out of their slots, desperate to find my hiding place. I can imagine her flinging her husband’s clothes through the air as she ravages his closet, hoping to find some secret compartment concealed within.
