The amount of blood that had trickled out from the body seemed to be enough to fill about a pint. Diggs 64 Godhead was the latest victim of the slayings related to the QR code on his right bicep. The FBI approached the cases in an entirely different way than Kim or any other state detective. Agent Slattery St. Kitts used his college training, his training at the Academy, and years studying Zen Buddhism. By spending two years in Tibet, he claimed to have a spiritual awakening that led to his understanding of the ways of man. At the Academy, he finished third in his class and earned top honors for his pistol firing. It even evolved to shooting competitions which he always placed first.

What Yawquisha liked to see most was the connection between the departments. Though some of it was strained or even close to being nonexistent, the Delaware state detectives and the FBI actually built a better rapport. She edited like the devil. Streams of footage flowed through her camera lens into the editing software. Those connections could be seen with every angle and shot that she produced.

With the fire stamped out, the three of them vacated the apartment. “Where are we going?” asked Tamil. Yawquisha already knew. Kim was taking them to the station to be safe and sound from the rioters. They wanted to deface the department, but knew they wouldn’t have the manpower to resist riot gear and more tear gas.
