Reason First: Is Chris Brown a Certified Simp?
Things just aren’t the same for wannabe gangsters. Chris “Pimp C” Brown (or is it Simp C?) has made headlines again. This time it is not for any domestic violence case. No, this time around, the “Deuces” singer and dancer had some choice words for his old flame Karrueche Tran and her new beau, NFL player Victor Cruz. In an Instagram missive, Brown stated that Miss Tran ought to “upgrade” from her present relationship. Upon the deletion of such rhetoric, Brown then queried his IG followers whether it was a suck[er] move to think about your ex?”

Reason First: Rapper Key Glock Avoided the Penal System... Now What?
The trappings of the rap game include mostly carnal urges, firearms, and the persistent chase of banknotes. Such topics have fueled the genre for decades. Rapper Key Glock is no different in his expression of such subject matter. And his once legal woes turned into a win as his charges for gun and marijuana possession were eliminated. With the simple message “charge dropped” on his Twitter, Key Glock announced to the world that he has been cleared legally. A month after being arrested on these charges, Key Glock seems poised to advance in his rap career, which should see a boost in interest due to his brush with the law. In just a little over a month, Glock secured his placement in the pantheon of rappers whose charges were dropped like the Dow Jones Industrial Average in a bear market. Glock brings to the game more of the same in many respects, but his ability to combat the obvious role of law enforcement seeking to lock up as many rappers as possible appears to be at the forefront of his message. It’s raw, unmistakable and dedicated to street themes. So, Glock’s subject matter coincides with his lifestyle. What else is new?

Reason First: Will UK Rapper Nines' Attack Signal an End to Gangs Across the Globe?
Some say that the world is a gang. This may be true as gangs have risen to places all over the globe in expression of the lowest rungs of tribalism. UK rapper Nines sustained lacerations in the face during a stop in his Porsche. Eleven years after his brother Wayne was shot to death in a gang related hit, allegedly, Nines took those blows to the visage. This has clearly become such a top story, and is particularly vicious because Nines is one of Europe’s top rap acts.

Reason First: From "Big Papi" Ortiz to the Deaths of Americans in the Dominican Republic, How Dangerous Can Paradise Be?
So it appears that the Dominican Republic’s public relations team has quite a bit on their hands. In a matter of a few months, shady stories have rocked the tiny country. The true tales have given pause to anyone living there or who looks forward to visiting the area. The latest story to come out of that Caribbean nation was the shooting and attempted robbery of Major League Baseball (MLB) legend and American David “Big Papi” Ortiz. He received a slug to his back while relaxing at a local bar on the island. Though he sustained this wound, it was not life-threatening and he is expected to fully recover. But where was the security before the whole altercation took place? Fortunately, Ortiz can talk about the whole incident.

Reason First: Have Robert Deniro and Estranged Wife Grace Hightower Called It Quits for Good?
Robert Deniro’s marital woes in movies like Raging Bull (1980) and Casino (1995) may have bled into his real life, but not in the same fashion. His divorce to his estranged wife, Grace Hightower, is currently in the processing stage. But what does it mean for an actor who is worth an estimated half a billion dollars? Already divorced once to Diahnne Abbot, Deniro then married Hightower and had been separated in the early 2000s and reconciled up to this point.

Reason First: Is DJ Khaled Now Crying Because He's Not an Egoist?
Jay-Z and Beyoncé (THE CARTERS) handled their number two slot on the Billboard 200 chart last year with their release, EverythingisLove (2018) with grace. Nicki Minaj launched into a temper tantrum when her fourth studio album Queen (2018) failed to make the number one spot, and so did DJ Khaled. Arguably the most annoying voice in hip hop, the DJ and producer recorded a video expressing his distaste for “mysterious sh–t.” By coming in the top ten, one would think that a recording artist would be satisfied with their own efforts. Regardless of whether the listening individuals actually stream or buy the physical copies of Khaled’s work, he should be proud that he organized so many voices to make a solid album.

Reason First: How Severe Should the Raptors Fan Tristan Warkentin's Punishment Be?
To blame alcohol for one’s behavior is a cheap excuse for owning up to foul words and deeds. Following Game 2 of the Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors tournament, 28-year-old Raptors fan, Tristan Warkentin, expressed a reference to engaging in sexual contact with NBA player and Warrior Steph Curry’s wife’s genitalia. In a statement, Warkentin showed somewhat remorse for his heinous behavior. Essentially, he blamed it on the Grey Goose and the Patron. He said that “it was an alcohol influenced situation…” The vodka and the Hennessy played a role in his actions and verbiage, allegedly. The police didn’t think that the whole alcohol angle was funny. They arrested him moments after the statements. Warkentin seemed to sober up rather quickly once the cold steel bracelets wrapped around his wrists.

Reason First: Have Mister Cee's Transgender Experiences Aided Young Buck's Situation?
Hip hop architect Mister Cee lives freely. He is no longer encumbered in his mind as to his preference for transgender women. In a video reaching out to G Unit statesman Young Buck, Mister Cee details how he became involved with a transgender woman for oral sexual favors and met the cold hand of the law for engaging in prostitution in 2011 and 2013. This signals a tonal shift in the vibe of the rap realm. Gone are the days of ridicule for the word fa—ot and knowing rappers for their distaste for the homosexual community.

Reason First: Should the Governor of Alabama Sign Off on a Bill to Make Chemical Castration Legal?
For the monsters who feel that they can terrorize young children, chemical castration seems to be a fitting punishment for their vicious actions. It seems also that the state of Alabama could do one thing right, at least. By pushing forward a bill for the governor to sign into law the treatment to lower hormones and testosterone thus inhibiting sex drive, this would prove to be justice.

Reason First: How Did Unreason Lead Lamont Lacombe to Murder His Cousin?
To say that guns don't kill people, people kill people, is one of the most keen observations ever stated. Though somewhat of a cliché now, the statement rings true. In the case of a Missouri male named Lamont Devon Lacombe, 27, a disagreement over $45 led to the shooting death of his cousin Joseph Lacombe, 26, at Lamont Lacombe’s hands. Now two lives have been ultimately destroyed and damaged because one male emoted instead of thought. Lamont Lacombe represents the small-minded “go-with-your-gut” way of handling personal matters. Never did he stop to think that his actions would lead to such a horrific outcome.

Reason First: Is It Worth It to Find Missing Person and Rapper EBE Bandz?
The missing persons around the United States total somewhere close to ninety thousand at any given moment. They are missing mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, cousins, nieces, nephews, uncles, and aunts. A reunion would be sweet, but sometimes the news is too grim to take for some families. With Chicago, Illinois rapper EBE Bandz, officially listed as a missing person by his mother, he stands a chance at being discovered alive, but the latest reports seem rather dour. Law enforcement suspect that a corpse is in the back of a Dodge Challenger located at the hip hop artist’s home.

Reason First: Should 70-Year-Old Florida Man, Renaud Jerome, Die in Prison for Having Sex with an Underage Girl?
Florida Man never seems to fail. In the latest news regarding a male from the Sunshine State who has acted out of control, irrational, devious, or all of the above, Renaud Jerome, at the age of 70 impregnated a thirteen-year-old young girl. The emoting here is at an all-time high. Only feeling, and sexual deviance could lead this senior citizen to engage in sexual intercourse with a minor. Jerome is currently being held without bond at the Palm Beach County Jail, according to the Panama City NewsHerald.
