Can you feel the irony? Your eyes are open but you can’t see Darkness floods the mind but the emotions are unclear The body begins to pace around and not a single thought can be displayed
She stands tall above clouds like the mighty Goliath But as gentle and sweet like a diamond dove. Her words are vivid and simple
You let me breathe but I suffocated you You drenched me in gifts from your hands but I never said thank you We both come from the same family but I treated you unfamiliar
You spoke to me without a sound from your lips One look at me and you touched mine I finally found someone who makes me forget me
Sorry darling but my pockets ain’t deep enough for a five star retreat So a small picnic will have to carry us through A park by a lake that’s the theme
