Oh how I have missed this.

The way that my body molds around another.

The softness of an embrace.

Have you ever wondered about it before?

The way that it was almost like our bodies were made to be held?

What great joy we were given.

What a gift and expression of love and joy.

The way that limbs fold and warmth is shared and happiness expressed.

The gentle ease and simple comfort of being known and loved and held.

The way that an embrace, any embrace, your embrace makes me feel as though I am truly alive and loved and cared for.

I can hear it now, feel it in my very bones as your warmth and your tight grasp tells me all the things that you may not be able to.

Here you are safe. Here you are loved.

Here you are home.
