Tunisian Cuisine
The people of Tunisia, a country in North Africa. enjoy all kinds of food including lamb, couscous dishes, fish and traditional pastry dishes. Under the influence of Mediterranean cultures, many dishes include tomatoes, olive oil and fresh bread. The Berbers, ancestors of the Tunisians provided the foundations for the cuisine which is couscous.

Korean Cuisine
Some common ingredients added to Korean cuisine are onion, ginger, red pepper, soy sauce, bean paste, sesame, vinegar, and wine. Dishes are preserved by fermenting (kimchi, bean paste, and soybean sauce) or drying (salted fish). The most well-known dish in Korea is kimchi, usually, cabbage is pickled with red pepper and salt. It is served to complement almost every meal.

Spooky Happenings in South Carolina
You'll find The Meeting Street Inn on Meeting Street, which runs through Charleston's historic downtown area. The inn has three stories and is a 56 room bed and breakfast inn. The guest rooms are romantic and charming and filled with southern décor. In the older section, one can find 12-foot ceilings and huge windows. Every room at the inn has a piazza that overlooks the lovely courtyard, and some of them have balconies.

The cuisine of Japan is world-renowned for its highly skilled preparation method and unique presentation. The Japanese diet is low in calories and cholesterol and has high fiber content. Rice is the main staple and is present in almost every meal. Noodles are served cold or hot and usually are presented with many different types of accompaniments and dressings.

Strange Happenings in Illinois
Valentine's Day Massacre The address of the place of the 1929 Massacre is 2212 North Clark Street, Chicago Illinois. On the Northside of Chicago on February 14th, 1929 a red brick building and garage housing the S-M-C Cartage Company stood at this North Clark Street address. The garage was also being used as a warehouse for illegal, black market liquor for the Northside Bugs Moran gang. They were mobsters who were in direct competition with Al Capon’s gang when it came to selling illicit bootleg booze during the Prohibition Era. This well known hit was reenacted in part in the well-known comedy film "Some Like It Hot" with Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon, and Marilyn Monroe.

Delicious Mexican Cuisine
Mexican cuisine is colorful and is known for its intense and varied flavors. This cuisine is one of the richest in the world with proteins, vitamins and minerals. Spanish conquistadors arrived in the Aztec capital Tenochtitlan (on the ruins of which Mexico City is built) and found that the common people’s diet consisted mostly of corn-based dishes spiced with chili and herbs.

Ghostly Happenings in Michigan
On a hill in the Heritage Hill section of Grand Rapids, Michigan is a private residence called The Phillips Mansion. It is a two-story antebellum mansion built in the Georgian Revival style. Four large pillars in the front make it look grand. It was built in 1864 the house had eight rooms and the kitchen in a shed in the back.

Australian Cuisine
The first inhabitants on this continent were the Aborigines. Their food was of high nutritional quality and whenever sufficient energy was obtained through hunting and gathering, the nutrient intake was balanced and adequate. Plenty enough to allow a rich and diverse culture of art, story-telling, dance and song to develop across the 600 tribes present at the time of the coming of the British. The British influence determined the main dishes such as Sunday roasts, grilled chops, stews, and other recipes made from meat and served with vegetables. The most frequent vegetable side dishes became mashed potatoes, beans, carrots, and peas.

The Ghosts of Georgia
The Olde Pink House Restaurant and Piano Bar is located off Reynolds Square, near the corner of E. Bryan Street in Savannah, Georgia. This is a Georgian standard from 1771. It is a 2 story brick mansion covered by pink plaster. Today it is a lovely restaurant. On the first and second floor are the dining rooms. There is a basement bar/restaurant – descending down steep wooden steps one finds a nice piano bar with wooden tables surrounding it. On the right side of the room is a comfortable, relaxing sitting area with chairs and couches situated in front of a huge fireplace.
