Jump in the Line with Harry
I can picture American singer, actor, and activist Harry Belafonte, who made Calypso music popular, dancing down the Milky Way in Calypso style. He died on April 25, 2023, at the age of 96 in NYC, but he leaves us with his fantastic music to be enjoyed by future generations. He is one of the few performers to have received Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony awards. In 2022 Belafonte was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the Early Influence category.

Ghostly Passion for Books
I was a passionate reader from the time I first learned to read. I loved my library card and could never seem to find enough books to read. So this got me thinking that once I passed from this world how fantastic it would be to at least once a week visit a library in spirit. While still on earth I would love it if I had someone who could accompany me and I could combine my two passions reading and searching for spirits.

Visiting Springfield
Springfield is the capital of the U.S. state of Illinois. Abraham Lincoln Memorial Garden had its start in 1936 with Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops planting acorns that with time grew into large oak trees. Here you can find walking trails lined with wooden benches inscribed with quotes by Lincoln. This memorial garden was designed to represent the landscape Lincoln would have been familiar with in his lifetime, living in the Midwest. It has plants native to Illinois. Indiana, and Kansas.

The Phenomenal Fab Four
The Beatles came on the scene when they were most needed by the world of rock and roll. With their unusual hairstyles, awesome music, and popularity they quickly became known as The Fab Four. However, it seemed that as quickly as they skyrocketed to fame they were also changing in many different ways and even though you would expect that a band like this would have kept on rockin' they disbanded after releasing 12 albums. But with all the compilations and other special releases, it was enough to make them legends and very successful on their solo musical journeys.

Sugar and Honey Sweet Love
Sugar and honey are two terms used as endearment between partners. They are interchangeable and can be used when referring to either females or males. When in love usually it gives the person being addressed a warm all-over feeling that their partner loves them so very much. I remember back in high school a very silly saying that had me and my girlfriends laughing until tears came to our eyes – “sure as the grass grows round the stump, you are my darling sugar lump”. These terms have inspired many songs. Among these one of my favorites is “Sugar Baby Love”. Which is yours?
