Towards Safety
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. It was a truth that Blaze came to understand quickly. Even if it didn't mean literally screaming. There was no way that anyone back on their home planet, Tharsunder, would be able to hear them. As the crew that had boarded their ship had cut their communication link. Something that wouldn't be noticed until it was far too late to do anything about. They were only meant to take supplies to their new ally planet, Efferia, and stay to assist them. Mostly to help fix houses and other things that were destroyed thanks to a rather terrible sand storm on said planet. Stuff that Blaze had done with his fellow crewmates a few years back on different planets.

A Seemingly Endless Ride
There were three things that Caelan was certain of. One, he woke up on a passenger train that looked to be very old. It wouldn't look out of place in a Western. Two, this train was going much faster than it probably should. As the scenery outside looked like a blur to him. Third, he was completely alone in the part of the train he woke up on. This was the most messed up thing he'd dealt with in his life. And couldn't remember buying a ticket for this train. Or getting aboard it either. He shoved his hands into the pockets of his pants to find a ticket. When he found nothing in there, he searched his jacket pocket, and there was nothing.

An Abandoned Cabin
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. It was strange that it was there. As he remembered both of the cabin doors were locked. From the outside with old heavy padlocks that he knew weren't easy to break. The police had made sure of that. And Ash felt compelled to double check them to be sure they weren't broken or something like that. To be sure that no one had broken in recently. As there had to be a reason for the candle in the window. But, both of the padlocks were perfectly fine. Neither looked like they had been recently messed with. Or had been touched since the day they were placed there. It only made him more curious as he continued to walk around the cabin. Looking at the windows that were on the first floor. Thinking that maybe one of them had been broken into.

Quest of A Reluctant Adventurer
There weren't always dragons in the Valley. Yet, to his surprise, there were at least five spotted in a week. This wasn't the most strange thing that Crispin had come across in months. Far from it if he was going to be honest. But, it was still something to be surprised about. And he wasn't entirely sure to whom he needed to tell about it. Or if it was something to be worried about. Yes, there were more dragons than he'd ever seen in his lifetime. Some of which looked as if they were nearly full grown.

Intruder and Warning
Walking to his home, Jaxon felt an odd sensation on his back. Like someone was watching him. When he glanced around all he saw was a barn owl. Something that he hadn't ever see before. Then paused in the middle of the sidewalk as he stared at the bird.

Night of Horrible Things
Jayce had spent most of Halloween night on the sofa. Knife near him on as he stared down at the wall. Holding his phone close to his body with a shiver. This whole night was just completely messed up. Someone had kept ringing his door-bell ten times in the past two hours. Ones that he thoroughly examined for bad things. Make sure that no one put nasty stuff inside. It was a good thing that he had. Otherwise, he would have been really hurt.

Family Issues
Charity and Mama were at it once again. Fighting each other and practically at each other's throats. So mad that they didn't even notice that she left. Bambi wondered if they ever were going to notice. Probably not anytime soon. Last time they did, it took at least three hours or more.

The Wolf of Jade Lake
During the day a lake that I live next to, Jade Lake, is lovely. Quite lovely. So much so that I've used it for some of my pictures for my job. But, at night? This place isn't exactly as nice. Every time I go on my evening run however...I get this weird feeling on my back. Like something or someone is watching me. Sometimes, I swear I hear footsteps. So, I run even faster then when I started. Never looking back once before I get to my front door.

Bedmates
Laying in Harrison's bed, Jesse was wide awake. Tired but, unable to fall asleep. This whole situation was a total mistake. Taking his ex-girlfriend's Dad's offer like this. Sleeping in the same bed with the older man too. It wasn't a wise decision in the slightest bit.

Mr. Paisel's Gift
The man sat on the edge of his bed as he stared down at him. Almost near the young man's head. And he was completely unable to move or speak. His heart pounded in his chest as the man sat near him. A tiny smile coming to his features as he stared at Shiloh. Carefully climbing over the frozen young man on the bed. Tilting his head to the side as he stared into his eyes. In a low voice, he said,"Hello my darling little one."
