The Fishboy Chapter Three
Day 3 January 5th, 2067 I wouldn't say that today has been completely awful. But it could be going a whole lot better. Chiyaru has brought over several pamphlets from aquariums. And only three of them seem to have had any experience taking care of creatures like them. Which isn't very promising in my book. I can't leave my own kind in the care of those who won't put in the effort. Also, not a lot of them know what we eat. Nor do they have the budget for it. While some are just too small to be able to take them in. And the only one that seems adequate is very far away. It's in China and I know they'll get treated well there. But I want to be close to my own kind.

The Fishboy Chapter Two
Day 2 January 4th, 2067 Today has been a fairly good day all things considered. I've been somewhat able to walk to the bathroom. With the nurse's assistance of course. That was a fairly awkward adventure as well. My legs could hardly hold me up and I had to grab his arms a lot. He didn't seem really phased by this in the slightest. Just helped me over the toilet. Got me situated and let me do my business.

The Fishboy
Day 1 January 3rd, 2067 I can't believe it this is really happening. I've finally got what I desired the most! I turned myself human! My gosh! Oh, I um. I'm probably getting way ahead of myself here. The nurse gave me this journal a few minutes or so ago. He also said that I should probably write my name and all that so if it gets lost, I can get it back. Or something like that. Now, my name is Olwen. I'm possibly around the human age of nineteen years old, my kind don't exactly celebrate birthdays. And I used to be a merman. How I became human is a bit, well it's a tiny bit complicated on how it had happened. Or why I did it as well.

Gils and Fur
Mermaids and werewolves. What do these two things have in common? Nothing much, really. They’re both popular in fantasy genre. Though werewolves have been more heavily featured in horror movies. Thanks to the various stories that have featured them killing and eating human beings. Our innate fear of what we do not understand.

My Waistband and Me. Top Story - April 2024.
Ever since I was little, I have never really liked my body. Well, when I was with other kids, I started to dislike myself. My body hadn’t bothered me until the other kids pointed out ‘flaws’. Stuff that they perceived as wrong.

The Emerald Problem
Before him sat the radio system. The buttons on it flashing in quick succession as he watched them. How long had it been since he spoke to another person? Just how long had it really been? Elliot wasn’t entirely sure anymore. But it didn’t matter. After all, he wasn’t lonely. Why in the entire world would he need to speak to anyone else for? At least that’s what he kept telling himself. That he wasn’t the least bit lonely.

Telling My Mother
Coming out as a trans-man was the scariest, hardest, and freeing thing I could do. I haven't come out to everyone in my life. But I came out to the people who matter the most to me. My Mother, some of my friends, and my younger brother. Who isn't all that supportive of me but, that's for another story. Once I get the idea of how to properly put it down in words. As the whole tale is complicated. Mostly thanks to the story between the both of us and how we relate to each other.

Worrying Over You. Top Story - March 2024.
There were times that Lucian really wanted to smack his husband upside the head. Now was one of those times. Since Lucian had gotten pregnant over a month ago, a process that halted his transition for the next nine months, his husband had been overdoing things. Mostly household chores. Taking him to every single appointment, which was lovely but he can still drive himself.

Growing Up Spooky
Growing up, horror has always been an escape for me. Ever since I was twelve, maybe thirteen years old growing up in the Midwest. I found it when my mom was divorcing her ex-husband and clung to it like a life preserver. Like it was the only thing to keep me grounded during those awful days. Movies, books, comic books, anything that I could possibly get my hands on I did. I read and watched anything to escape the shit going on in my life.
