Time to Close Your Savings Account & Download Qapital
I first heard about Qapital from a friend, who suggested I check out the app after discussing how difficult it was to put money into our savings account and to not touch it after putting it there. Saving money can be difficult, and knowing you have some extra money makes it too tempting to use.

From Weakness Comes Strength: Part Two
If you haven't read my "Part One," certain references used throughout this Part Two will be confused. I suggest reading Part One to understand this part fully. However, a small recap: I was bullied horribly in 8th grade, so much so that I decided I wanted a fresh start somewhere else and chose to go to a catholic high school a few towns over. I lost many friends, stopped eating, and was extremely depressed. Going into high school, I was entirely anxious, but wanted to make a good impression on what would hopefully be new friends and become a happy person again.

Product Review: 'Say Yes To... Coconut' Lip Mask
I love face masks. I almost think I have an obsession, because every time I am in any store that sells them, I have to spend at least ten minutes in that aisle looking through them and end up buying at least two of them every trip. Even more, I love trying new ones. While shopping for one to try in Target, I came across "Say Yes To" lip mask. It is a two step process: part one consists of a coconut oil scrub to exfoliate the lips, and step two is a paper mask to wear on the lips for fifteen minutes. The duo promises to deliver smooth, plumper- than- before lips ,and only for about $2 (give or take a couple cents).

'The True Cost': How Fast Fashion Is Affecting Our Youth
The documentary The True Cost is an eye opening documentary which explores the idea of fast fashion, and its varying affects on our environment, on factory workers, and can also be a way to look at how the fashion industry uses adolescents to create a constant need for their products. The film exposes the dark sides of the fashion industry, which are both unsettling and disturbing. Once it is seen what goes on behind the scenes of our clothes, it is unlikely to ever view the fashion industry as the glamorous industry it may have previously been seen as.

Daily Thoughts of a College Upperclassman
The transition from teenager to young adult was always a part in my life I looked forward to. Becoming an adult meant more freedom, independence, and living a life I have created for myself. However, in my later years of college, the anxiety level about becoming a "real adult" was at an all time high. There are thoughts that plague the minds of myself and my friends, almost too often:

Pros and Cons of Being the Oldest Child in the Family
Big sister to a brother and big cousin to numerous cousins, I have officially figured out all the pros and cons of being the oldest child in the family. There are moments of sweet glory, and there are moments of annoyance. I love being able to have some authority over them (haha), but get so incredibly angry when I see my younger brother specifically get away with things that I never would have been able to get away with.
