Eurovision Song Contest 2024.. Content Warning.
People these days find the old Eurovision of previous decades boring and tame. No doubt, they have a point. Would people like Abba, Bucks Fizz, Sandy Shaw, etc even stand a chance on modern Eurovision? Probably not as it seems the majority acts representing different countries today it's more about what they do rather than the music. Or it's about politics, agenda, etc.

When you look at President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu they have much in common. Both men have been around for years and have led their countries for decades. In Netanyahu's case, he has led Israel on and off. In contrast, Putin has ruled Russia for several decades.

Darok's Continued Martian Musings.
Living here on Earth is still a strain on my health. For all the training I did on Mars (before I came to Earth) to get used to your environment the effect of your strong gravity and white light is not good for me. I have found my health physically, mentally, and spiritually challenged. I can tell I was not designed for your Earth. I was born on a planet where the sun shines less and the gravity is weaker compared to your gravity. Often, I feel the aches, pains, and strains of living in your world. Your white light hurts my eyes so sometimes I have to wear shades even watching your screens. The white light and bright flashing images affect my vision. So that's why I prefer orange light or darker lighting as it is on Mars.

Sunak Coy On July General Election.
When Joe Biden learnt that Rishi Sunak had succeeded Boris Johnson he said: "Remarkable". Why remarkable? Well, the fact that the UK had its first British Asian Prime Minister and the first Hindu one to boot. Sunak may be a man of colour, but Sunak racially would still be classified as Caucasian. Biden, however, got Sunak's name wrong. Calling Him Rushi Sanook. This made Sunak sound like an Indian but not a South Asian Indian, more Native American!

Iran and Israel: Still Playing A Dangerous Game.
Hezbollah started out as a resistance movement to Israel. Since then the militia has grown steadily backed, supported, and supplied by Iran. Hezbollah and Israel fought a war in 2006, that ended in a stalemate. However, some historians believe that Hezbollah won that war. A UN- brokered ceasefire brought this conflict to an end.

Iran and Israel: Dangerous Game.. Content Warning.
Israel and Iran have been locked in a deadly duel for decades. Ever since Ayatollah Khomeini came to power in 1979, both nations have been at loggerheads. Israel did help Iran briefly, in the First Gulf War of 1980 - 1981. Iraq was a common enemy of Israel and Iran. Israel helped the Iranians with weapons. Sadly, that moment in history is a blip in an otherwise confrontational relationship.

Daniel Herzog: "Act of War But We Want Peace". Really?
The President of Israel Daniel Herzog is President in name only. Unlike say someone like President Biden, Herzog's role is a ceremonial role like the British Monarch. Herzog has views on certain things and no doubt, he discusses them with Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. Many countries have political or royal heads of state who wield no power. The real power lies in the hands of the Prime Minister, in this case, Bibi Netanyahu.
