Quirkville was a sleepy little village near the centre of political pandemonium as the 2024 election season went into full swing. That was the general consensus amongst the residents of Quirkville, anyways —each of its many occupants going about their daily lives in a similar 'out-of-the-box' way that made Quirkville one unique place to live. This year, they held a series of candidate debates in the American presidential race, hoping to spice up the usual bland political events.

The Art of Living with Purpose
Life is a journey where we all have opportunities, challenges and experiences that mold us into who are. Dispose of something that provides motivation, and you are potentially lost on this journey by going through it blindly. One of the motivating forces that keep me going is reminding myself that every day is a fresh start. Sarah fought her way through the unyielding sheets of rain that fell on the cobblestoned avenues of Oldtown, her umbrella just barely preventing a downpour from soaking her to the bone. The charming narrow streets and the dozens of centuries-old buildings had always made it an enjoyable place to stroll, but tonight, something about them felt oppressive. Memories of stories about the haunted old library at the end of the street with its ghostly wordsmith crept up her spine, making her shiver.

The village of Eldridge was a cradle of mystery hidden amidst the rainy vapor and twisted pathways through the mountains. Fables grew abundant of the charming little village, with people alive and hearty, only for one day to hear that it must have never existed because in a single night it all mysteriously disappeared from sight. People living in the town of Westhaven nearby had described a presence, an absence of light and sound that had come and devoured Eldridge.

The Shadows Whisper Secrets in the Dark of the Forgotten Asylum
A massive looming structure, the decrepit stone walls of the old asylum stood as a silent testament to the horrors that had once occurred there. Perched on the fringes, encased by dark woods that seemed to loom over it, the locals avoided it entirely whispering of madness & woe. Unoccupied for centuries, it was the perfect playground to satisfy Sarah's curiosity and journey into the unknown.

The Journey of the Hallways of the Dark Lighthouse Is a Long One
The ruins of the original lighthouse watched in silence from that crumbling cliff over those stormy seas, black as a soul, extinguished and left dead centuries before. Abandoned many moons ago, long left to rest in a quiet alcove, with the townsfolk of the village not far recalling tales of grisly discoveries. These are the ghost stories of spectral shapes and haunting sighs, whispered on the breath of the courageous who dared approach.
