Gallow's Road. Content Warning.
Strange things happen on Gallow’s Road on Halloween night but throw in a blue moon, and things get monstrously evil quickly. On an average night, people driving along had reported their vehicles dying and a strange tapping on the roof of their cars. But on a blue moon Halloween night, the area locals avoided the road at all costs, and the following day, the locals would find travelers dead, hanging from the trees above their stalled cars.

I was on the subway, traveling to the meeting spot and hoping to rescue Debbie from my maniacal Uncle. I’d already picked up the bullets I needed from a shady little gun shop close to my rundown apartment. They didn’t even bat an eye when I handed them a note for ten boxes of ammo. They just sold me what I asked for. I’d had to return to the apartment to load all my clips and pack my ammo bag.
