Walking In A Feline Flurry
Introduction People have remarked that I go out to take pictures of cats, but actually, that is just a residual extra to my walking. On my Google Pixel 4XL, I have the Google Fit application that is available from the Google Play Store, and set myself a target of seven thousand steps a day which is about three miles. I used to do eleven thousand steps a day but that meant that I had to go out both before and after work, and now that I work from home that became not impossible but just a chore.

Why I Didn’t Write Today. Top Story - February 2023.
Introduction Well, you know that the title is an outright lie because you are reading this piece that I have written. I always feel compelled to write but I thought I would just list a few of the things that stop me from writing certain things. I am not really geared up to write in all Vocal’s Communities although I have written at least one story in every one, and the only way to check that out is to apply all the filters on my Profile page which is below. So I will drop into what stops me and what inspires me.

A Few Shades Of Pink (Floyd)
Introduction My friend Cathy wrote a poem (see the end of this article) taking in the titles of Pink Floyd albums and last week I listened to all the Pink Floyd albums in my collection. While I have a preference for the Floyd of my teenage years I can find something I like in every one of their albums but this will be very selective because there is so much music to choose from.

The Vocal Top Story Drug. Top Story - February 2023.
Introduction I don’t know if this is just me, with my imposter syndrome and feelings of inability and inadequacy, but maybe others may feel this as well. I also understand that people who have never had a Vocal Top Story or Challenge win or placement may see this as a red flag or bragging on my part, but it is not. I know many great creators who have not been recognised for some excellent creations, and I am not sure what to actually do about it.
