A Playlist From Heaven
Introduction I think one of the worst parts of the Vocal editor is the autosave just after you start a story that wipes everything you have written so far, but it's something we all live with. I have been playing some magazine compilation CDs while I worked today and one was from "Q" magazine called "Eighties" and it had three covers that mention the word "Heaven" so I thought that could be a good theme for a Vocal playlist.

Prologue I had an idea, one word, either Threads or Filaments that carry a threat. Threatening Threads seemed too alliterative and the word always makes me think of the very frightening eponymous 1984 Nuclear Fallout film.

Introduction This is inspired by two things, the walk along a main road in Newcastle that you can see below: ... and I mentioned the Green Man in a recent poem and my great friend made a comment that amused me as she was totally unaware of the legends of the Green Man. This is the poem.
