Foolish (Ignorant) Relationship
In a way I can’t consider this a relationship. It was a waste of three months of getting to know someone. Especially after letting the person know from the start that I wasn’t looking to get into a relationship. This is the one I regret the most but also the one that I have received surprises from. One surprise is my son that is on the way. In a way I am happy that I will have two boys but this is definitely not how I intended to do it. I wasn’t planning on being alone, left out of the blue because the other person decided they weren’t happy. This relationship has really made me pull back, really made me open my eyes and show me where I went wrong and how I didn’t follow through on the plan for me. I know I am loved. No matter what I know that when this relationship ended that I was not alone. As we all should remember when a relationship ends. We are not alone; our walk is with some special and he is always there. Never forget who stood by your side.

Rescue Relationship
We’ve all been there I am sure. I never thought of it as a rescue relationship until someone pointed it out. The abusive relationship before this one made me blind. Never did I think that it would mess me up as bad as it did, but it led me to this next relationship that didn’t last and that I didn’t treat properly. However, it did lead me to the life I am learning and trying to live now for him.

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder)
What are you doing? Why are you yelling? Didn’t I just tell you to pick those up? That is a typical day in my home. Between running errands on my day off, working a full-time job and taking my child to school; dealing with ADHD is added to the list of things to deal with through out the day. However, it most certainly isn’t how I’d imagined starting my mornings and ending my evenings. Now I’ll begin by explaining what ADHD is, types of medications, treatment and how I’ve coped in my own way having a child with this disorder.

Abusive Relationship
We all have things that we regret. I regret making the same mistake with internet dating. After getting out of a seven-year relationship of course I hid behind a screen for the next couple months if not even a year. Mistake not learned! No relationship stuck but being your twenties usually is the time to explore your options. Which is what I was doing. Then I ran across my next long-term relationship. Not what I was expecting but it is one that I am not proud of.

IBS-C and Constipation (Differences, similarities, causes, treatment and diagnosis)
Common is what I was told. Yet the pain keeps growing day after day. Many others suffer from IBS-C, but the positive side is it can be overcome with a long process of elimination. It might be a common digestive disorder but not many are aware of it. First, I’ll break it down for you. IBS-C is defined as belly pain (abdominal pain) that is associated with constipation. As stated, it is a common digestive disorder which is affecting 7-21% of the general population. There are no lab test or imaging studies that can confirm a diagnosis but is based on a thorough medical history and physical exam. However, in certain situations, a limited amount of testing such as blood work or imaging studies may be needed to make sure other conditions are not present. Doctors use a tool called Rome criteria, a list of specific symptoms and factors that can help determine if someone has IBS-C. The most important of these criteria include the presence of abdominal pain or discomfort and change in bowel habits. Overall, IBS-C is pain within the abdomen and consist of constipation.

Autism
As each year passes more and more children are being diagnosed with Autism. With all the different types of disorders out there, Autism has been creeping its way to the top of the list. Autism Spectrum Disorder known as ASD is a complicated condition that includes problems with communication and behavior. It is a serious developmental disorder that impairs the ability to communicate and interact. As recently as 200,000 U.S. cases per year are just diagnosed with Autism. Broken down the term, “spectrum” refers to the wide range of symptoms and severity. A wide range of behaviors can result in a diagnosis of Autism such as: minor problem or a disability that needs full-time care in a special facility, trouble with communication, trouble understanding what other people think and feel, problems with learning, skills might develop unevenly, and it is hard for them to express themselves, either with words, gestures, facial expressions and touch. Autism isn’t easy to diagnose and is hard to define. There are many different types such as: Asperger’s syndrome, childhood disintegrative disorder, or pervasive developmental disorder (atypical autism). Not a disorder that anyone wants to be faced with but with shared information on the disorder it can become manageable. With that said I want other families who suffer from Autism to know they are not alone and to be able to learn more about it what it is and how they can cope.

Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
What is Oppositional Disorder? Any child could be considered normal right? No one wants to know that there is something wrong with their child? Well neither did I until I actually investigated the diagnosis. Oppositional Defiant Disorder took me by surprise when I realized that the meaning described my child perfectly. Definition of this disorder says that some kids act angry, defiant and aggressive in sprite of the consequences they will receive and if the behavior continues for six months or more it can be a sign of disruptive behavior disorder. After carefully researching I noticed that it also shares common affects with ADHD such as trouble keeping emotions in check and doing risky and impulsive things. Oppositional Defiant Disorder usually cause problems at school and home. Symptoms generally begin before a child is 8-years-old and most kids have angry outbursts and sometimes us aggression to solve problems. Even though it is a part of growing up and learning to be independent; it is crucial to remember that extreme outburst aren’t normal. Unlike a two-year-old testing limits for the word, “no”, most children with ODD will test further and not expect the consequences to be severe. Common phrases used are, “out of control” or “wild”, which shows the similarity to ADHD but keep in mind that ODD and ADHD are not the same thing but do coexist. The cause is unknown but likely involves a combination of genetic and environmental factors and there are more than 200,000 U.S. cases per year. Even though there is no cause for the disorder, it is broken into two main types: Conduct Disorder (CD) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder, each different from each other but children with Conduct Disorder may develop Oppositional Defiant Disorder.
