My Tribute to the Dead
I passed a cemetery today. No place in particular. As I waited for the light to change in my favor, I saw a cemetery. It was dark. Everything was encased in a shadow. It was lonely. It made me think, “Who was there?” No, I did not expect an answer, as I did not ask the question aloud. I did wonder, however, about a few things of this area of desolation. It was quiet enough for me to ponder.

The Funeral Home
The movie was quite enjoyable. The guys headed home for the evening. George was now driving his new van. Irene was with them. They stopped by a pool parlor for a quick game. When they were done, they headed home for good. They decided this time, not to go to the cemetery. They had enough of cemeteries for the evening. Besides, it was nearly two in the morning. There should be no activity anywhere.

Superhero or Supervillain?
I grew up reading comic books and watching Batman, Superman and the Green Hornet on TV. I even enjoyed Spiderman and the Incredible Hulk in movies, TV and in print. If I could go through a metamorphosis and change into someone else, who would I want to be? I know that I'd be the greatest superhero or super villain of all time, but exactly what would I be? Before I can answer that question, let us look at the qualities and characteristics I’d want in that super-powered individual.

A Day in the Life of a Fool
Who needs Jacque Cousteau or Stephen Hawking to tell you about a life that has never been explored? Allow me to give you a tour of a typical day in the life of a dweeb/dork/geek/nerd. It's easy. All we have to do is look at my typical and mundane day.

The Killer Within!
There are many types of people in the world. Some are good and others are, well, not good. Unless one has a divine background, we all have to deal with our demons. Many manage to keep them under control while others do not. This is why we have jails and penitentiaries for those who cannot control their demons. This constant inner struggle is a part of life. I should know. I have struggled with my demons early on in life. That’s right. I admit that I had to struggle, too.

Lovers No More (Ch. 9)
At this point in my story, I finally became a teacher. I stayed at SJU to receive my Master's degree. It was a great time. I was teaching in the morning and attending classes in the evening. I had many challenges that were present during that all too crucial first year. The rest of my professional time was spent getting used to procedures. My first professional job landed me in the South Bronx.

Lovers No More (Ch. 8)
Once again, I was in a position where I was about to graduate from a four year program. I was ready to move on to a new phase of my life. Where it would take me was beyond my imagination, but I was ready to go. St. John's had been very interesting and I needed to look for a way into the profession.

Lovers No More (Ch. 7)
I had to set out and do something different this year. I remember signing up with various fraternities in the hope of being a fraternity brother one day. I eventually became a part of Zeta Beta Tau. I wasn’t easy, but I made it. I became friendly, at the time, with the founding father of the chapter. His name was Joel. A few weeks after assuring me that I was indeed a part of the fraternity, we decided to go out and celebrate. Boy, did we celebrate. He invited me to a fraternity party at Rutgers one Saturday night. Ironically, I took a CK girl with me. Her name was Connie.

Lovers No More (Ch. 6)
I was fresh back from our neighbors to the North. I stayed with the drum corps until November. I then joined up with Jazzmobile to learn some more about music. I still had pictures of Spiro following me and showing me up. Even worse, I thought of the prospect of meeting other Spiros.
